ONLINE PROFESSIONAL EXEMPTION PROCEDURE

WHAT TO DO

• Study the exemption guidelines in the Syllabus (and on the website


https://icanig.org/students/professional-exemption) to enable you determine your exemption status.

• Pay through PayDirect at any commercial bank with the appropriate exemption fee. Use the PayDirect
receipt to access the form online - www.icanonline-ngr.com/paydirect

You may also pay using your ATM card through:


a. www.quickteller.com ( then proceed to https://icanportal.org/professional/paymasters/QuicktellerIndex
to generate PIN and SNO).
b. WebPay - https://icanportal.org/professional/paymasters/Create
(then proceed to https://icanportal.org/professional/paymasters to generate PIN and SNO).

• Click on students’ professional exemption.


• A box will appear requesting you to put in your “PIN and SNO” after which you click on submit to input
your data.
• Get a Chartered Accountant as your referee/sponsor
Note: Your referee, who has no outstanding subscriptions with the Institute, is to endorse your
application form & credentials on completion.

• Provide his/her membership number, name and phone number in the provided section
• Fill the form
• Print out a copy of the application form. You and your referee should sign in the appropriate spaces.
• Scan the completed form with the following documents (all into one single pdf file):
• Original copy of the PayDirect receipt
• Certified photocopies of your educational and or professional qualifications, NYSC
certificate/call-up letter/exclusion letter or students’ academic transcripts which must be
sent to the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Institute directly
• Students who are yet to be inducted and are using AAT result should pay N24,500 only,
being the cost of induction/conference and attach a photocopy of the receipt to the form.
• Upload the form and the required documents already scanned into one single pdf file to the required
section and click submit.
• To verify your exemption status 72 hours after submission, click
