a) How easy or difficult is it to identify items on the diagram?


Yes

c) If you were to design a network for your office based on what you know,
would it look like the existing network, or would you do things differently?
It would look different than the existing network architecture at home, I have
prepared a network architecture diagram attached below which would consist
of 3 firewalls to avoid any malicious file to enter the office environment, we
need to be extra protective about office network because there are multiple
confidential data that needs to be protected.

Internet Access:
Determine if broadband internet access is available at your home location.

d) What choices do you have?

e) Which option is best for your situation given the cost and speeds available?
Fibe 50 is a suitable option for a student like me as it has 50 GBPS Upload and
download speed and is much more affordable than Fibe 500.

Wireless Networking:
Locate the wireless access points and wireless routers on your network.
Below are the wireless access points and routers in my network.

f) Do they allow sufficient coverage for everyone who needs access?


No
g) Do they use the same SSID or different SSIDs?
Different SSID.

h) Do they broadcast their SSIDs?


No, we cannot view their SSIDs

i) Is a password required to get on the wireless network?


Yes, All the wireless access are password protected.

Activity 2: Network Services

Server Types and Locations:


Draw an example of a network with a three-pronged firewall.
The below network architecture is made using

a) Where would you place web, mail, authentication, file, and print servers?
Would place the above server between external and internal firewall.
Configuring Clients to Use a Proxy Server:
Configure your Windows-based client computer to use a proxy server with an
address of 10.1.1.80 to access the Internet.
After configuring the windows computer using proxy server 10.1.1.80 with port
80, we were not able to connect to the network

Using the cloud:


Set up an account with Google if you do not already have one.
• Access three different apps to create files.
Created Docs, Sheet, and Slide using google account.
• Share those files with another user.
Shared the Docs, Sheet and Slides with another user revoking any edit
access. (Attached snippet for reference).
