Microsoft Office, or simply Office, is a family of client software, server software, and services developed by Microsoft. These text files can be edited and transferred from the author to others and edited by them too.. As a word processing application, there are the following functions available:

• It helps generate text documents. • Features like colors, work art, images, animations can be inserted along with the text in the same file. • Authors or Writers can use it for writing/ editing reports, letters, documents, resumes, and more. • Spell-checks facility on the writing doc file is also available MS Excel-First launched in 1985. MS Excel is used for processing the data that is in tabular form and then performing mathematical functions on it to analyze it. Functions: • MS Excel is majorly utilized for making spreadsheets. • In MS Excel, there are rows and columns. The intersection of rows and columns forms a cell. • The unique functions that MS Excel has are Formulas & Data. Users can perform the formula on data to analyze it quickly; which can be easily managed and can be applied as a replacement for paper. • File extension, for MS Excel, is “.xls” It was released on April 20, 1987. It is an application that provides the user to work with slides and runs a slideshow. Through PowerPoint, we can include images, sound, text, animations, and videos to any presentation easily and quickly. Functions: • PowerPoint mainly comprises slides for making the presentation. • One can decide the sequence of the slide, layout, design, add media to the slides & can also perform other word processing functions like font change, size change, etc. • “.ppt” is the extension for PowerPoint presentations. • Generally, used to generate audiovisual presentations. The first version of Microsoft Publisher 1.0 was released in 1991. Microsoft Publisher is a Desktop Publishing Application and works as an entry-level Graphic Design application. Though on the onset it may seem similar to MS Word it has a greater emphasis on Page layout and Design. It was released on November 13, 1992. Microsoft Access functions as a Database Management System (DBMS). It helps users to be able to analyze humongous amounts of information and manage data more efficiently. Functions:

It consists of Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Meet and Chat for communication Gmail is a web-based email service, launched in a limited beta release on April 1, 2004.With over 1 billion active consumer users worldwide in February 2016, it has become popular for giving users large amounts of storage space, and for having threaded conversations and robust search capabilities. Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service, launched on April 24, 2012. The official announcement described Drive as "a place where you can create, share, collaborate, and keep all of your stuff. With Google Drive, users can upload any type of file to the cloud, share them with others, and access them from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides are a word processor, a spreadsheet and a presentation program respectively. They all serve as collaborative software that allow users to view and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations together in real-time through a web browser or mobile device. Google Meet is a standards- based Video Conferencing application, using proprietary protocols for video, audio and data transcoding. Apache OpenOffice features six personal productivity applications: a word processor spreadsheet, presentation graphics, drawing, equation editor, and database. iWork is an office suite of applications created by Apple for its macOS, iPadOS, and iOS operating systems, and also available cross-platform through the iCloud website. iWork includes the presentation application Keynote, the word- processing and desktop-publishing application Pages, and the spreadsheet application Numbers. Instead of purchasing individual software licenses, users subscribe to Creative Cloud and gain access to the entire suite of Adobe applications. Photoshop can be used, for example, to edit and compose raster images, graphics and text in multiple layers; edit and render text and vector graphics; and create and edit 3D graphics and video. Illustrator is most commonly used by artists, illustrators and graphic designers, to create everything from simple graphics, such as logos, icons and infographics, to complex illustrations, and everything in- between.
