We are the UGCC team, a part of the Consumer Experience Tech family. Our mission involves
three goals:
• Facilitating improved personalization through a robust profile platform.
• Creating a centralized hub where users can easily manage and view their personal
information.
• Empowering users to engage in transactions with others, while also helping them
discover additional valuable options within the Grab app.

About the Assignment


We are embarking on an ambitious mission this year to revamp the existing profile page,
establish a profile platform for enhanced personalization, develop features around community,
and continually improve the Family Profile experience. However, with our current staff level, it
will be challenging to accomplish these aspirational goals. Therefore, we're seeking additional
support to help accelerate our pace.

Get to know the role

The day-to-day activities

• Collaborate with the existing team on new feature development and problem resolution
• Work closely with the team to enhance both product and user experience
• Strike a balance between rapid development and maintaining system stability and app
quality
The must-haves
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience as a QA Engineer / Tester / SDET
• Have hands-on experience in testing Android, iOS Mobile apps, Web portals, and REST
APIs
• Able to go through requirement docs and derive test cases for new features along with
impacted features for staging testing as an internal customer
• Demonstrate accountability for privacy and security guidelines and include them as part of
test cases
• Experience in Agile and weekly sprint planning and release working models
• Knowledgeable of tools like Charles, Android-studio, X-Code for iPhone, Mobile Emulators
(Android, iOS), Postman, Automation IDEs, DB Access Tools, Kibana for Logs
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills - very good at inter and intra-team
communication
