Aim:- To understand the Photoshop environment, learning the usage of tool in toolbar with sample image.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and Familiarize: Launch Adobe Photoshop and explore the interface, including the
toolbar, panels, and menus

Selection Tools: Rectangular Marquee Tool, Elliptical Marquee Tool, Lasso Tool.

Crop and Slice Tools: Crop Tool, Slice Tool.

Retouching Tools: Spot Healing Brush Tool, Clone Stamp Tool, Healing Brush Tool.

Drawing and Painting Tools: Brush Tool, Pencil Tool, Eraser Tool.

Text Tools: Horizontal Type Tool, Vertical Type Tool, Horizontal Type Mask Tool.

Navigation Tools: Hand Tool, Zoom Tool.

Shape Tools: Rectangle Tool, Ellipse Tool, Polygon Tool.

Aim:- To understand the usage of selection tools: Marquee & Lasso selection

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- Select the Marquee or Lasso tool from the toolbar.

Step 4- Hold and trace the required area.

Step 5- Now that area can be cut or copy and paste it anywhere.

Step 6- Now press enter to fix the changes

Adjusting Brightness and Contrast

Aim:- To adjust the brightness and contrast

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- Choose ImageAdjustmentsBrightness or Contrast

Step 4- Set the brightness value and the contrast value.

Step 5- Now press enter to fix the changes

Isolating image from complex image.

Aim:- To Isolate image form the complex image

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- Select marquee or lasso tool form the toolbar

Step 4- Trace the required area and remove it or isolate it

Step 5- Now fill the empty area with any color

Step 6- Now press enter to fix the changes

Channel Mixer

Aim:- To adjust the Channel Mixer

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- Choose SearchChannel mixer

Step 4- Set the color values in RGB form or CMYK form

Step 5- Now press enter to fix the changes

Clone Image

Aim:- To Clone Image

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- To clone an area of the image select clone stamp tool from the toolbar

Step 4- Hold down the Alt key to fix the source. The source point and select a part of the image to clone.

Step 5- Release the Alt key and drag and move wherever you want to clone the image.

Step 6- The pixels in the dragged image are replaced by the pixels of the cloned image.

Adjusting color and tone of an image

Aim:- To Adjust the color tone of an image

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- To adjust the color tone of an image go to SearchTonel

Step 4- Now select the darkest and the brightest part of the image by dragging the adjuster.

Step 5- Then the darkest and the brightest part of the image can be enhanced.

Step 6- Press enter to fix the changes.

Apply readymade effects to image using filter menu

Aim:- To Apply readymade effects to image using filter menu.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- Go to Filterschoose any filter or choose from the readymade filters

Step 4- Select a particular part of the image using lasso or marquee tool.

Step 5- Apply any filters required example Add noise, Lens Correction, Blur,Artistic style etc.

Step 6- Press Ctrl+Enter key to allow the transformation.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Load the image by choosing FileOpen.

Step 3- To the image press Ctrl+Alt+T key.

Step 4- Transform the image as needed.

Step 5- Press Ctrl+Enter key to allow the transformation.

Designing ID card

Aim:- To Design ID card.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Layer1-Add the logo of the institution.

Step 3- Layer2-Add a textbox1 to add the college name under the logo.

Step 4- Layer3-Add a rectangle shape from the elliptical shape and fill it with golden color using the paint
tool.

Step 5- Layer4-Add the photo of the student in the golden box.

Step 6- Layer5-Add a textbox2 to add the name of the student under the student photo.

Step 7- Layer6-Add a textbox3 to add the programme of the student.

Step 8- Layer7-Add a textbox4 to add the Student Register number.

Step 9- Layer8-Add a textbox5 to add the validity.

Step 10- Layer9-Add a rectangle shape after the big golden box and fill it with the purple color using the
paint tool.

Step 11- Layer10-Add a textbox6 to the purple box to add the address of the institution.

Step 12- Layer11-Add a textbox7 to add the contact info of the institution.

Step 13- Layer12-Add a textbox8 to add the website details of the instituion.

Step 14- Layer13-Add a new purple box at the bottom of the Id card.

Step 15- Layer14-Add a new textbox9 to add “STUDENT”.

Step 16- Go to FileSaveSave it in PSD format.

Designing Invitation card

Aim:- To Design Invitation card.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Photoshop and create a new project.

Step 2- Layer1-Add the Background image or color.

Step 3- Layer2-Add a textbox1 to add the Welcome.

Step 4- Layer3-Add a textbox2 the department name.

Step 5- Layer4-Add images for decoration.

Step 6- Layer5-Add a textbox3 to add ceremony name at the top or anywhere you want.

Step 7- Layer6-Add colors or decoration as per the requirement.

Step 8- Layer7- Go to FileSaveSave in PSD format.

Drawing Spokes on a wheel and allow the wheel to rotate motion tweening

Aim:- To create a wheel with 24 spokes.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Draw 24 spokes inside the circle with help of the line tool.

Step 4- Go to the 40th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe.

Step 5- Select the selection tool from the toolbox and click on the circle to select it.

Step 6- Convert it to symbol by choosing ModifyConvert to Symbol.

Step 7- Choose movie clip form the options and click OK.

Step 8- Choose ModifyTransformFree Transform, rotate the circle once for 360 o.

Step 9- Now, right click anywhere between the 1st frame and 40th frame on the timeline and create motion
tween.

Step 10- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Motion Tweening

Aim:- To Tween an object using motion tweening.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Go to the 40th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe.

Step 4- From the 40th keyframe select move tool and drag and drop the circle to the other end of the stage.

Step 5- Click anywhere between 1st keyframe to 40th keyframe and right click and choose create motion
tween in the timeline.

Step 6- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Bouncing Ball

Aim:- To Bounce a ball using motion tweening.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Go to the 40th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe.

Step 4- From the 40th keyframe select move tool and drag the circle in a bouncing manner and drop the
circle to the other end of the stage.

Step 5- Click anywhere between 1st keyframe to 40th keyframe and right click and choose create motion
tween in the timeline.

Step 6- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Shape tweening

Aim:- To Bounce a ball using motion tweening.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Go to the 20th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe.

Step 4- On the 20th keyframe press delete button to delet the existing shape and draw a new shape.

Step 5- Click anywhere between 1st keyframe to 20th keyframe and right click and choose create motion
tween in the timeline.

Step 6- Repeat step 3 to 5 for various times.

Step 7- You can draw a star shape by selecting polystar stool from the toolbox and in property window
click the options button and select the style as star and enter the no. of sides.

Step 8- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Text Tweening

Aim:- To tween the text sing free transform tool.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Using the text tool type the text in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Choose modifyBreak apart to break the text into individual characters .

Step 4- Go to the 30th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe.

Step 5- Click 1st keyframe and 30th keyframe, and click


Free transform tool from the toolbox and do the following
Rotation of 3600
Drag the text
Shrink the text
Increase the height of the text.

Step 6- Now, right click anywhere between the 1st frame and 40th frame on the timeline and create motion
tween.

Step 7- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Moving a bus

Aim:- To move a bus from one end to other end of the stage.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe spokes inside the circle with help
of the line tool.

Step 3- .

Step 4- Click the 1st keyframe Convert it to symbol by choosing ModifyConvert to Symbol choose
move clip and click OK.

Step 5- Select the selection tool from the toolbox and click on the circle to select it.

Step 6- Rotate the wheel using free transform tool in 3900.

Step 7- Now, right click anywhere between the 1st frame and 50th frame on the timeline and create motion
tween.

Step 8- Add a new layer and repeat step 2 to 7 for the next wheel.

Step 9- Insert layer3 and in the keyframe 1st draw the upper part of Bus.

Step 10- Select frame 50 and make it as keyframe. Right click in between 1 to 50 keyframe select create
motion tween.

Step 11- Select all the layers by pressing shift and move the shapes togather to the other end of the stage
using selection tool.

Step 12- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Moving object along the path

Aim:- To place the object the a curved path.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Draw a circle with the help of the oval tool in the first keyframe.

Step 3- Insert a guide layer and in guide layer draw a curved line.

Step 4- Go to the 60th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe in layer1.

Step 5- Go to the 60th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe in guide layer.

Step 6- In layer1, 1st keyframe drag and drop the circle at the starting position of the curved path.

Step 7- In layer1, 60th keyframe drag and drop the circle at the ending position along the curved path.

Step 8- Now, right click anywhere between the 1st frame and 60th frame on the timeline and create motion
tween.

Step 9- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Masking Effect

Aim:- To apply masking effect for an image .

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Rename the layer 1 as background and insert layer2 by clicking insert layer icon and rename by
double click the layer 2 as mask.

Step 3- Click background layers 1st and choose FileImport to stage and load a picture in a stage.

Step 4- Click on mask layers 1st keyframe and select oval shape tool and draw a oval shape in stage.

Step 5- Go to the 60th frame in the timeline and right click and choose InsertKeyframe in guide layer.

Step 6- Now, select the oval shape as selection tool and drag and drop the oval shape to the other end of the
image.

Step 7- Click in between 1st and 6th keyframe fo mask layer right click and select the create motion tween.

Step 8- Click in 6th keyframe of the background layer and make that the frame by pressing F5.

Step 9- Right click mask layer and select mask option from the popup window.

Step 10- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

SlideShow

Aim:- To create a slideshow using action script .

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Import 3 to5 images by choosing FileImportImport to the library.

Step 3- In layer1, 1st keyframe drag and drop the 1st image from the library.

Step 4- In the same layer, draw a oval shape and using the text tool type “NEXT”.

Step 5- Right click the oval shape and shoos convert to symbolbutton.

Step 6- Right click the button and select action script.

Step 7- In Action panel give the script as,

}

Step 8- Click on 1st keyframe in timeline with the action panel open and type the script as stop();

Step 9- Now click on the 10th frame and make it as a keyframe.

Step 10- Select the image alone in the stage and press delete key.

Step 11- Drag and drop the 2nd image. Right click the next button, click actions and type the above coding
by changing the frame number as (20).

Step 12- Repeat the same procedure for all the image. In last image change the frame number as (1).

Step 13- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.

Buttons for connecting URL

Aim:- To create a Buttons for connecting URL.

Procedure:-

Step 1- Open Flash and create a new flash document.

Step 2- Using oval or rectangle too create three buttons(draw the shape and using text tool type name of the
buttons)
Shapes can be created with different colors using paint tool.

Step 3- Right click on each button and click convert to symbol and select the type as button and click Ok.

Step 4- Right click the buttons and now select the action script from popup menu.

Step 5- Action panel appears, type the following code in the script assit:-

Step 6- Repeat the same procedure for all the buttons, wirte the required code for opening the particular
website.

Step 7- Press Ctrl+Enter key to play the movie.
