Close in camera shot to reading tables. Shot #3/MR/6 Seconds/No Narration/Background MC Sounds Description: A mid range shot of two students sitting and reading intently at a table in the media center. Shot #4/MR/35 Seconds Scripted Description: A mid range shot. One of the students browsing in the media center approaches the two students reading at the table. He tries to engage them in a conversation about afterschool and weekend activities. The seated students ignore him. He finally asks them whats so interesting in the books they are reading. Shot #5/CU/30 Seconds Scripted Description: A close up shot of Student #1. The student indicates the cover of his book and shares a brief description of the book and why he finds it so engaging. Camera zooms out to mid range. Shot #6/CU/30 Seconds Scripted Description: A close up shot. Student #2 shares why she is so enthralled with her book. Camera zooms out to mid range.

Shot #7/MR/120 Seconds Scripted Description: A mid-range shot. The three students are around the table. Student #3 indicates hed like to read both books when the others are finished with them. He then laments hes really bored with Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Goosebumps books, but its difficult to find books that he, as a fifth grade student, would enjoy. He mentions he still needs to read ten more fiction books for his 25 book requirement this year. The students start talking among themselves trying to identify books they are interested in reading. They agree to share their book choices with other fifth grade students. Camera zooms out to a long shot. Shot #8/LS/5 Seconds Students indiscriminant conversation Description: A long range shot. The students move from their table and approach the circulation desk where the media specialist is standing. Shot #9/MR/75 Seconds Scripted Description: Mid-range shot. The students share their idea with the media specialist and suggest starting a book talk segment during the school broadcast. She responds positively and asks them how they think the book talks should be presented to reach all the fifth grade students.
