1. What are the advantages of using header, footer
and page number?

To ensure information reliability, check if the


site ends with “edu.,” “gov.,” or “org.” which
often used by official organizations, similarly
when a site starts with “https://” as the site
keeps your data secured. Checking reviews
regarding the site can contribute to
information credibility as well. Furthermore,
verifying website reliability is crucial in the
world full of faulty contents.

2. Which situations/circumstances that Table of


Contents can be used in our daily lives?
Table of Contents can be used in Power Point
slides to let the audience know what to
expect in the presentation or in other words,
simply giving them an overview regarding its
sections. Similarly, table of contents can be
used in academic papers (such as research
papers) for the overall ease of scanning
through the content by having the overview
of the pages.

1. What are the step by step process if you want to
create a Table of Contents?

Create a new Word document, name it “Table


of Contents” and type your text.

2.

Apply the Heading Styles, for Unit 1 and 2,


apply Heading 1 and for the rest of the text
apply Heading 2. Click Home > Choose Styles
group > Heading 1 or Heading 2.

Click in the beginning of the document to


move the insertion point.

If you want to make it automatic in putting


label in your “Table of Contents,” press,
References > Table of Contents group > then
the click Automatic Table 2.

document title are included in this section.
Additionally, this is separated from the
body part of the text and used to
emphasize keywords in the document.

footer Opposing to the header, the footer is


located at the bottom of every document.
Similarly, this includes the author’s name,
creation date, page numbers or other
relevant information. Furthermore, this
section is crucial as it includes copyright
notices (for protecting intellectual
property) and navigation links.
page Page numbers are sequential and often
seen at every page of the document. It
helps the reader to skim for a specific
number page and contributes to the overall ease
of navigation. On the other hand, page
numbers can be located at the upper
right/left and lower right/left of the page.

table The table of contents is what we call a


mini-map that provides an overview of
what to expect in the document. It
of contains the heading, subheading, and the
corresponding page number. To conclude,
contents this is similar to an outline, which contains
headings and subheadings.

in conclusion
The word app is used for editing and viewing
documents. This app has a wide range of
features from automatic table of contents,
text alignment, and size. Which, this software
app is convenient and saves time, since you
do not have to do everything manually in this
app.
