To change the color scheme
PowerPoint provides the facility to add effects to the text inside
of a text box, which is known as WordArt. WordArt is a quick way
to make text stand out with special effects.
A WordArt Style will automatically apply several effects to the
text at once. We can then refine the look of the text by adding or
modifying text effects.
1. Click where we want to insert word art text in a
document.

5. Edit the text to whatever you want it to be.
After you have applied a WordArt Style, you can still modify the font
or font color from the Home tab if desired.
1 Select a text box, or select some text inside of the text box. The Format
tab will appear.
2 Click the Format tab.
3 Click the Text Effects command in the WordArt Styles group. A drop-
down menu will appear, showing the different effect categories.
4 Hover over an effect category. A drop-down menu will appear. You
can hover the mouse over the different presets to see a live preview,
5 Select the desired effect preset. The effect will be applied to your text.
If you want, you can combine several different effects.
In the WordArt Styles group, you can also use the Text Fill and Text
Outline drop-down boxes to modify the fill and outline color.
SMARTART
GRAPHICS
SmartArt is a way to improve the aesthetic
presentation of information in slides. It is useful to
graphically representing textual data -
organization charts, flow charts, Venn diagrams,
pyramids, etc. Many of PowerPoint's SmartArt
tools also have their own custom animation built
in, so that, for instance, we can set up a Venn
diagram with three circles that fade in one at a
time as we go through our presentation.
1 Select the Insert tab.
2 Select the SmartArt
command in the
Illustrations group. A
dialog box will appear.
3 Select a category on the left of the dialog box and review the SmartArt
graphics that appear in the center.
