CASE STUDY: SERIAL AND BATCHES IN PROCESS PUBLIC

INTRODUCTION

In this case study, you will perform the following tasks:

• Create an inventory transfer with serial number managed items
• Make serial number reservations in a sales order
• Replace serial number reservations
• View serial and batch number reports

PREREQUISITE:
1. Use the demo database for SAP Business One 9.3, version for SAP HANA or SAP Business One 9.3
2. Credentials: User code: manager; Initial Password: manager

TASK 1

Customer C23900 calls Bill, the sales manager, and wants to order the following items:

Item Quantity

A00006 4

B10000 10

Create the sales order and make a reservation of the serial numbers; a reservation of the batch

defective, he needs to select another serial number.

Create the delivery and make the relevant changes in the document.

TASK 3

George wants to see the delivered serial numbers and batches in a report.

How can he get an overview about the delivered serial numbers and batches?
(Different options are possible.)
