Adobe Scan 03 Sept 2024

The document discusses the development of an IoT-based firefighting robot designed to assist firefighters in hazardous environments, thereby reducing risks to human life. The robot detects fires and communicates with a nodeMCU to control operations and update data on a Blynk server. This innovation aims to enhance firefighting effectiveness and safety by performing tasks in areas inaccessible to human firefighters.

ABSTRACT

Fre acidents have been occurring trequently these days, with or without the intervention of
humans. Afire incident is a disaster that can potentially cause the loss oflife, property damage.
andpermanent disability tothe affected | victims. Firefighters are primarilytasked to handle fire
ncdents, but they are often exposed to higher risks when extinguishing the fire, especially in
Nardous enviroments such as nuclear power plants, petroleum refineries, gas tanks, etc.
Thyalso face other problems, especially if a fire breaks out in a small, cramped area, as they
n2d to explore the ruins of buildings and obstacles to extinguish the fire and save the victim.
hthe case of high barriers and risks in firefighting activities, innovation can be used to asist
e fire brigade. When the Robotdetects a fre, it gives a message to the nodeMCUwhich will
ztOmatically sense the fre update the data on to blynk server and control the robot and start
Wier pump. It assists firefighters in extinguishing the fire. And it will perform its operation
where firefighters can't reach. This willsave the risk of fire fighters' life and avoid any further
amage.

Ti to put out fires and preserve lives, firefighters must becxperienced and traincd to ener

lhe lives of human firefighters lowers the possibility of'injury or death. This is
