II. DESCRIPTION

This course aims to involve students of Industrial Engineering, Administration and related careers
in a computer culture, because we live in a time of transition from an industrial society to a society
based on information. The forces driving this transition are computers, and people are striving to
exploit their capabilities, whether for work and/or leisure activities.

Thus, you will understand the study of computer resources such as software, hardware, operating
personnel and investment. It also deals with computer processing technologies such as data storage
and organization, data communication, computer networks and others.
