TUTORIAL-3

Q. 1. Using Superposition, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems, find current in 12  resistance.

Q. 2. Determine the voltage at node A & B of the circuit and also find the current flowing through 4  resistor
(Resistance of element AB) by using nodal analysis. Aslo, verify it using Superposition, Thevenin’s and Norton’s
theorems, find current in 4  resistor (Resistance of element AB).

Q. 3. Find RL for Maximum Power flow and also find the value of maximum power delivered to the load RL.

Q. 4. Using mesh and nodal analysis, find the current in 30  resistor of the network shown below. Also, verify it
the same by using Superposition, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems.

Q.5. Determine current through 8  resistor in the Network shown in Fig. using Superposition, Thevenin’s and
Norton’s theorems.

Q.6. Find the maxm power dissipated in the resistor RL for the circuit shown.

Q.7. Determine the Rth and Vth across the terminal AB.

Q. 8. Using mesh and nodal analysis, find the current in 10  resistor of the network shown below. Also, verify it
the same by using Superposition, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems.

Q.9. Using mesh and nodal analysis, find the current I3 of the network shown below. Also, verify it the same by
using Superposition, Thevenin’s and Norton’s theorems.
