Title :IMAGE DESCRIPTION GENERATOR USING DEEP LEARNING AND NLP
Abstract (Not more than 2000 Characters)

The increasing integration of artificial intelligence into assistive technologies has revolutionized
accessibility for individuals with disabilities. My project, "Image Description Generator Using
Deep Learning and NLP," aims to create a system that enhances the lives of visually impaired
individuals by providing descriptive insights into their surroundings. The system leverages deep
learning techniques to process and analyze uploaded images, generating concise and meaningful
textual summaries. Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), these summaries are refined to
ensure clarity and context appropriateness.

In addition to generating textual descriptions, the system incorporates a Text-to-Speech (TTS)

module, converting the generated text into an audible format. This dual functionality not only
provides immediate accessibility to visually impaired users but also fosters a deeper
understanding of their environment. The underlying architecture employs advanced convolutional
neural networks (CNNs) for image feature extraction and sequence-to-sequence models, such as
Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, for natural language description generation.

By combining state-of-the-art deep learning and NLP methodologies, this project endeavors to
create a robust, user-friendly application capable of offering real-time assistance. The potential
applications extend to personal use, educational tools, and navigation aids, making it a versatile
contribution to assistive technologies for visually impaired individuals.
