EDUCATION
IN THIS REPORT WE WILL BE TALKING ABOUT TWO TOPICS, THE FIRST TOPIC IS– AND THE SECOND IS---
NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THE FIRST TOPIC THE---
PLEASE READ EVERYONE. The 21st Century teaching-learning environment becomes more complicated
brought by technological changes. Therefore, teachers should be able to cope with and adapt to these
changes.
21st Century teachers are characterized as:
THE 1ST ONE IS MULTI-LITERATE. PLEASE READ THE DEFINITION EVERYONE. A 21st-century teacher must
be knowledgeable in using different forms of technology to enhance teaching and learning. This includes
knowing how to operate devices like computers, tablets, and smartphones, and being familiar with
software and online tools. -A teacher might use interactive tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint for a
presentation, or apps like Kahoot or Quizizz to create engaging quizzes that students can access on their
devices.
The 2ND ONE IS MULTI-SPECIALIST. A teacher must go beyond their core subject expertise and be
knowledgeable in other areas to help students make connections between what they learn in class and
real-life applications.
THE 3RD ONE MULTI-SKILLED. Teachers must have multiple abilities beyond teaching, such as organizing
events, managing groups, and facilitating activities. This includes skills like time management, leadership,
and teamwork to handle the demands of modern education.
4TH ONE. Teachers should take initiative in improving their classroom practices and contributing to their
school's overall success. They don’t wait for instructions but act independently to enhance learning.
5TH ONE. A 21st-century teacher believes that learning never stops. They constantly seek out professional
development opportunities, read up on the latest teaching trends, and attend workshops or seminars.
They also inspire their students to adopt the same mindset.
Flexibility means adapting to different student needs, learning styles, and challenges in the classroom. A
flexible teacher can change their teaching methods or strategies to suit the situation.
Teachers face various challenges in the classroom, school, or community. Being a creative problem solver
means finding innovative and effective solutions. -If students are unmotivated, a teacher might design
gamified lessons where students earn rewards for completing tasks.
IT IS NOT JUST WE ARE ENCOURAGING OUR STUDENTS TO BE A CRITICAL THINKER BUT ALSO US
Teachers must think critically to evaluate situations, make informed decisions, and encourage students to
develop their analytical skills.
A passionate teacher inspires students through their enthusiasm and dedication to education. Their
energy makes learning enjoyable and motivates students to do their best.
Teaching involves a lot of emotional interactions, and teachers must have the patience, empathy, and
emotional strength to connect with students. They must handle difficult situations calmly and support
students emotionally. WE JUST DON’T NEED TO HAVE AN HIGH IQ BUT ALSO WE SHOULD HIGH EQ.
SO THAT’S THE END FOR THE 1ST TOPIC WHICH IS THE CHARACTERISTICS OF 21 ST CENTURYTEACHER.
NOW PLEASE READ. As teacher for the 21st Century, no one can escape from the reality that we are now
in a borderless society. Therefore, it is important that we should know different technology tools for
learning to respond to the needs of 21st Century learners' and the demands of the times. The following
are common 21st Century technology tools.
AFFINITY GROUPS ARE Online communities where people with similar interests share ideas and
collaborate. It connects individuals who might not meet otherwise, creating opportunities for
collaboration and learning.
Web logs or "blogs" are interactive websites, often open to the public that can include Web links,
photographs and audio and video elements. Teachers and students can use blogs to share knowledge,
reflections, or updates.
THE 3RD TECHNOLOGY TOOL IS ALSO CALLED Electronic portfolios are easy to share with different people
and can be moved between websites. They show how learning happens, help connect ideas, highlight
finished work, and provide a space for reflection.
These are electronic texts that provide multiple links and allow users to trace ideas in immediate and
idiosyncratic directions. Hypermedia adds sound, video, animation, and/or virtual reality environments
to the user's choices.
These are digitalized audio files that are stored on the Internet and downloaded to listeners' computers
or most likely to MP3 players. The term "podcast" comes from iPod, the popular MP3 player.
This refers to modern online communities that help students develop the skills they need to engage and
contribute effectively in today's world.
It is a global social networking site where users share profiles, blogs, media, and connect with
classmates. Students can also rate professors and discuss books.
It is an Internet-based 3-D virtual world that uses avatars (digital representations) to explore, socialize,
participate in individual or group activities, create and trade items (virtual property) and services.
Web 3.0, or the next evolution of the web, organizes data into a common format, allowing search
engines to work together to provide efficient and comprehensive information retrieval.
INSTEAD OF BRINGING ACTUAL PET LIKE DOG OR CAT. YOU CAN JUST LET YOUR STUDENTS USE THIS WEB
AND TEACH THEM HOW TO TAKE CARE A PET.
Wikis enable students to create, comment upon, and revise collaborative projects. One of the most
prominent is Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org), an online multilingual free-content encyclopedia,
which has 7.9 million articles in 253 languages.
It is a popular website for video sharing where users can upload, view and share video footage, including
movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, even student-produced videos.
It allows students to collaborate with other people and the document materials that need to be
compiled, processed, transacted and analyzed.
Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that offers creative templates and zooming features to make
presentations visually dynamic.
EasyBib is an online tool that helps students generate citations in various formats like APA, MLA, or
Chicago.
Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Edmodo are used for communication, collaboration, and sharing
ideas.
Smartboards are interactive digital whiteboards, and audience response systems allow students to
participate in quizzes or polls in real-time.
It is a repository of standards-based literacy lessons that offer teachers instructional ideas for Internet
integration.
