CCHS Honors Algebra 2 SUMMER ASSIGNMENT

This assignment is intended for any student that will be taking Honors Algebra 2 at CCHS this coming fall.

Dear Honors Algebra 2 Students,

The assignment below will be due on the first day of your Honors Alg.2 class in the fall. This
assignment is designed to get you thinking about math again at the end of your long summer
break and to allow the class to "hit the ground running" in September. You may want to look over
the problems early in the summer to get a sense of what the assignment entails, but it is important
to actually wait to do the problems until we get closer to the start of the new school year. It is
probably best to do this work about one week before school begins (and keep the rest of your
summer school-work free!). All of this work should be review for you and there will be review
and then a graded assessment on the material at the end of the first week of classes. We look
forward to seeing you in the fall!

NOTES:
1. All problems are from the Written Exercises section of the text (the pages of the text needed all
