Making the life of a busy school SLP easier and a bit more beautiful every day!

Directions:
This tool is designed to be used to monitor a student’s
progress with the /dg/ sound in all positions of words,
phrases, and sentences.

To use, make copies of the record form. Choose which

positions and levels your student needs – I usually start with
word level in all positions, and if the student does very well, I
go ahead and try phrase and sentence levels. Have your
student say each word/phrase/sentence, and write a + or –
for each correct or incorrect response on the record form.
You can use this progress monitoring tool every so often to
measure progress – I typically administer it every 9 weeks or
so when progress reports are due. Make sure to keep the
record form in a place where you can find it for the next time
you measure progress. (I store mine in a binder, but you could
choose to keep it in a folder.) This is great to bring with you to
IEP meetings to show a student’s progress over the school
year.
