This booklet is full of past HSC questions. It contains the questions and recommended answers. It is
important that you are doing past HSC questions each week as part of your regular study routine. This
will help you to:
1. Understand the types of questions that you might be required to answer in the trial and HSC
exams
2. Test your understanding of the content
3. Identify areas for improvement
4. Build up your writing stamina (there is a lot of writing, believe me!!!!)

Helpful Tips for Studying


1. Pick a place and a time (Make sure this is consistent)
2. Get into a routine (It takes 2 weeks to make a habit)
3. Plan your studying time (Have a goal for each session)
4. Take Breaks (This is important so you do not get fatigued)
5. Discover your learning style (visual learner, auditory learner???)
6. Make your own study materials
7. If you are confused get help from others (other students, your teacher)
