LUBE OIL PURIFIER OVERHAULING

PARTS AND FUNCTIONS

1.Bowl

Function: The main chamber where the separation of oil, water, and
solids takes place. It spins rapidly to create centrifugal force for
separation.

2. Discs (Disc Stack)

Function: A series of conical plates inside the bowl that help

increase the surface area for separation. The oil, water, and
impurities separate into different layers between these discs.

3. Inlet and Outlet Ports

Function: The inlet allows the contaminated lube oil to enter the
separator, and the outlet ports discharge the cleaned oil, separated
water, and sludge.

4. Sludge Port

Function: Allows the discharge of solid particles and impurities

collected during the separation process.

5. Water Outlet

Function: Discharges separated water that was mixed with the

lubricating oil.

6. Centrifugal Pump

Function: Pumps the contaminated oil into the separator and helps
maintain the required pressure for separation.

7. Drive Motor

Function: Powers the rotating bowl, enabling the centrifugal force

needed to separate the oil from contaminants.

8. Gravity Disc or Paring Disc

Function: Controls the interface between the oil and water layers,
ensuring optimal separation by maintaining the right balance of
flow.

9. Feed Pump

Function: Transfers the contaminated oil from the storage tank to

the separator for processing.

10. Control Panel

Function: Manages the operation of the separator, including
