**Title:** *Focus*

**Genre:** Drama

**Duration:** 8-10 minutes

---

**[Opening Scene: A Messy Bedroom]**

*(Camera pans across a cluttered desk with comic books, video game
controllers, and junk food wrappers. The sound of loud laughter and
shouting drifts in from outside.)*

**INT. BEDROOM – DAY**

*ADITYA (17), a boy with unkempt hair and a distracted gaze, sits on
his bed scrolling through his phone. His mother, MRS. SHARMA, knocks
and enters.*

**MRS. SHARMA**
ADITYA, you’ve been in this room all day. Have you thought about your
future?

**ADITYA** *(without looking up)*

I’ve got time, Ma.

**MRS. SHARMA** *(sighs)*

Time flies, beta. Don’t waste it.

*She leaves. ADITYA looks at a framed photo of himself as a child,

dressed as a doctor, smiling proudly.*

---
**[Scene 2: THE HANGOUT]**

*EXT. LOCAL PARK – EVENING*

*ADITYA is with his friends: ARSHIT, an aspiring YouTuber who never

uploads; ARNAV, a prankster; and AADI, a self-proclaimed expert in
everything useless. They’re laughing loudly, eating chips.*

**ARSHIT**
I’m telling you, ADITYA. Forget all this career nonsense. Start a
gaming channel with me.

**AADI**
Nah, he should do pranks. You’ll go viral, bro!

**ARNAV**
Why stress? Life’s too short, man.

*ADITYA laughs but seems uneasy. His phone buzzes with a notification
from his school: “NEET registrations closing soon.” He stares at it.*

**ADITYA**
Guys, ever feel like we’re just… wasting time?

**ARSHIT**
What? No way! This *is* life, bro.

---

**[Scene 3: A SPARK OF DETERMINATION]**

*INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT*

*ADITYA sits alone, scrolling through videos of NEET toppers sharing
their stories. One video catches his attention: a boy from a small
town talking about overcoming distractions and working hard to achieve
his dream of becoming a doctor.*

*ADITYA’s eyes light up with a mix of determination and fear.*

---

**[Scene 4: THE DECISION]**

*INT. DINING ROOM – MORNING*

*ADITYA sits across from his parents at breakfast. He hesitates, then

speaks.*

**ADITYA**
I’ve decided. I’m going to prepare for NEET.

*MRS. SHARMA and MR. SHARMA exchange surprised but proud looks.*

**MR. SHARMA**
That’s a big decision, son. We’ll support you. But it won’t be easy.

**ADITYA**
I know.

---

**[Scene 5: HARD WORK]**

*INT. STUDY ROOM – MONTAGE*

*ADITYA transforms his messy room into a study haven. He sticks a NEET
syllabus on the wall. Clips of him studying late at night, solving
mock tests, and drinking coffee play in sequence.*

*Meanwhile, texts from his friends invite him to hang out, but he
ignores them.*

---
### **[Scene 6: TEMPTATION]**

*EXT. HOSTEL COMMON AREA – EVENING*

*Aditya walks through the common area, carrying a thick biology

textbook. His friends—ARSHIT, ARNAV, and AADI—are lounging on
beanbags, laughing and eating chips. They spot him and call him over.*

**ARSHIT**
Aditya! Come here, man. We’re planning a weekend trip. You can’t miss
this one!

*Aditya stops, glancing at his watch. He adjusts the book under his
arm but doesn’t move closer.*

**ARNAV**
Come on, you’ve been stuck in your room for weeks. Take a break!

**AADI**
Yeah, chill out, bro.

*Aditya hesitates, looking at them. For a moment, it seems like he

might join. Then he looks down at his book and shakes his head.*

**ADITYA**
I can’t, guys. NEET is coming up, and I need to focus.
**ARSHIT**
Dude, one weekend won’t ruin everything.

**AADI**
What’s the harm?

*Aditya sets his book on a nearby bench and sits down.*

**ADITYA**
I get it. But if I keep putting off my studies, I’ll never reach my
goal.

**ARNAV**
We’re not distractions. We’re your friends.

**ADITYA**
Exactly. And as my friends, I hope you’ll understand that I need to do
this.

*The group falls quiet for a moment. Then Aadi grins.*

**AADI**
Alright, but you owe us later.

**ARNAV** *(laughing)*
And you’re paying!

*Aditya smiles, picks up his book, and stands.*

**ADITYA**
Deal.
*He heads back to his room. His friends watch him leave, their smiles
now filled with pride.*

**ARSHIT**
He’s gonna make it.

**AADI**
For sure.

*The camera lingers on the trio as they go back to joking around,

their respect for Aditya clear.*

---

*Cut to Aditya walking down the hallway, gripping his book tightly,
his eyes full of determination. He reaches his room, shuts the door,
and dives back into his studies.*

---

**[Scene 7: THE EXAM]**

*INT. EXAM HALL – DAY*

*ADITYA sits nervously at a desk. The examiner distributes question

papers. ADITYA takes a deep breath and begins.*

---

**[Scene 8: RESULTS]**

*INT. HOME – NIGHT*

*ADITYA nervously checks his result online. His parents stand behind
him. After a tense pause, his face lights up.*

**ADITYA**
I did it!

*His parents hug him tightly. Tears of joy flow.*

---

**[Final Scene: THE FUTURE]**

*EXT. MEDICAL COLLEGE – DAY*

*ADITYA, now wearing a white coat, walks confidently into his college,
carrying a stethoscope. His old friends watch from a distance, smiling
and clapping for him.*

**AADI**
Guess he was right to change.

**ARSHIT**
Proud of you, bro.

*ADITYA turns back, gives them a nod, and walks into his bright
future.*

**[Fade Out]**
**Text on Screen:** *Focus can change everything.*

**THE END**
