Last Updated : 22 Nov, 2024

Hi everyone, I'm Shriyansh Kesharwani, currently in my 7th semester. I

would like to share my placement experience with KPIT Technologies,
which visited our college on November 11, 2025, for the role of
Associate Engineer. The entire hiring process was planned to be
completed in two days.

To participate, we were required to register on the Superset platform,

and the process began with a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) conducted on
our college campus.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 70% and above (or equivalent CGPA) in 10th, 12th,

Diploma, and Graduation.
No current backlogs.

Eligible Branches

CSE/IT/CSE (AIML)/CSE (AIDS)/CSE (DS)/EE/EX/EC

Recruitment Process
1. Online Assessment
The first stage was an online assessment to evaluate technical
knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and aptitude for the role. The
assessment was conducted on the AON platform and consisted of the
following rounds:

Technical Assessment (30 minutes)

20 MCQs based on branch-specific subjects.
As my branch is AIML, I received MCQs related to Artificial

Coding Round (40 minutes)

Solve 2 coding problems of easy to moderate difficulty.

Only Java and Python were supported for the assessment.

Gamified Aptitude (3 games, 9 minutes each)

The games tested deductive reasoning, graph and chart-based

problem-solving, and motion challenges.

Results:

After a wait of two hours, the results were announced. Out of 700–800
students, 145 students were selected for the next round.

2. AI-Based Interview Round

This unique interview was conducted on the same day. It used AI
technology to assess candidates without a person present on the other
side.

Process:

13 questions were displayed on the screen one by one.

Candidates had 20 seconds to frame their response and 2 minutes to
record it.
The interview lasted approximately 45 minutes.
Questions Asked:

1. Introduce yourself and mention your area of expertise.

2. Explain BFS and DFS graph traversal algorithms.
3. What do you know about stack and queue? Give an example in C++.
