Week 2 4A’s Lesson Plan

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
 Describe Global Economy;
 Express their ideas upon observing a video clip about Global Economy;
and
 Improve speaking skills by describing ideas based on the presented
YouTube clips.

A. Motivating Activity

Direction:

The class will be divided into 4 groups.


Each group will be given materials ang pictures related to Global Economy
What they are going to do is to brainstorm with their group mates for 1
min. and will choose a representative to present their ideas.
Each group will be given 2 mins to present their ideas in front of the class.

Example Pictures:

 Advanced Transportation
 High Technological Advancement
 Advancement in Gadgets

After the activity, the following questions will be asked to the class:
1. What are the possible impact of Global Economy to the individual
need of the people in the society?
2. What are some benefits and challenges of Global economy that you
have noticed or learned about through these materials?
3. How can individual people in our society contribute to the
development of the local and global economy?

 The teacher will present a YouTube video about global economy.


 Students will watch the video twice.
 After watching, the teacher will give them 2mins to comprehend the
video.
 The teacher will call students randomly 1 by 1 to share their ideas
about Global Economy to the class.
 They will be given 2 minutes each to express their ideas.

 The class will be divided into 4 groups.

 Each group will be given sets of materials such as pen, paper, small

wooden sticks, and glue

 They will make their own invention out of those materials

 They will be given 2 minutes to build and 3 minutes to present their

output

 After that, they will explain those materials as to how are those

things can be related to Global Trade and Globalization

After the activity, the following questions will be asked to the class:
1. What were some things that can make a specific country
Globalized?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of Global trade in a
globalized country?
3. How can a globalized country help other developing countries?

Direction: (Would you rather?)

 Students will group themselves into 2 or by pair.


 The teacher will present a video from YouTube in which it shows 2
pictures.
 After watching, each group will discuss with their pair.
 After brainstorming, each pair will be given 2 mins to share to the class
on what they have come up.
 They will what they want and what would they rather be based on the
presented clips from the YouTube.
 Each pair must take part on presenting the answer.
