What Is My Weakness in Teaching
What Is My Weakness in Teaching
back and see my weak and strong side. Is a wonderful question to ask myself. I know I am young
just 22 but I have almost 8 years of teaching experience in my local church and also in a school.
The law that I chose that I think it relates to my weakness is the law of readiness: the law
in short talks about preparation it picks up an example like preparing for a sport or a match. No
body goes to the match unprepared or untrained. So, teachers need to be well-equipped or well-
prepared when they inter to a class room. This involves understanding hoe the students learn,
When teachers are well-prepared, they can run the classroom smoothly, and even lets the
students come prepared. It also helps to be confident and responsive during class. That makes the
students to experience more effectively and engaging. Preparation includes gathering resources,
designing activities, and setting clear goals for what students should achieve.
This law is important because the law of readiness underscores that preparation is key to
successful teaching. The law is crucial for ministries for smooth learning, confidence and
responsiveness, for clear and organizes instructions. And makes you a thriving teacher not a
clumsy one.
I have noticed that I tend to prepare for my class just a day before. While this method was
wonderful for the secular classes I teach it is not relevant for my ministry at church. The law of
readiness suggests more dedication and more advanced preparation could greatly advance my
teaching effectiveness. By planning lessons more ahead of time, I can make sure they are
detailed and more organized. Thia allows me to anticipate potential challenges and gather all
necessary resources, making class time more effective and more engaging to my students.
When I prepare last minute, I might miss crucial details or not fully consider my students diverse
learning needs. Advanced preparation gives me the opportunity to reflect to the material, design
interactive activities, and set clear objectives. This leads to more responsive and confident
dedicated to lesson planning. This change will make me sure that I don’t prepare last minute and
embrace more thoughtful approach. By breaking down tasks into manageable pieces and
spreading them throughout the weak, I can cover all aspects, from materials to interactive
activities and assessments. I can stay organized and efficiently monitor my progress by using
A crucial part will be reflection, as ill record what went well and what needs improving at
the end of each class. This feedback loop will enable me to continuously modify and improve my
plans. Additionally, work with peers will improve my preparation process by bringing in new
resources and perspective. By sticking to this method I want to provide my students learning
environment.
