WOMEN (AUTONOMOUS)
(Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Reaccredited with ‘A+’ Grade by NAAC, College with
Potential for Excellence by UGC and Mentor Institution under UGC PARAMARSH)
PEO1: become data entry operator in the academic and non – academic
organizations.
PEO2: apply the practical knowledge of data entry and manipulation thereby automating the
activities of an enterprise.
Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the
Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or any other examinations
accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent there to.
Each Student should secure not less than 75% overall attendance arrived at by taking
into account the total number of periods in all the subjects put together, offered by the Institution
for the year under consideration.
Evaluation of theory and practical courses are based on 25% Continuous Internal
Assessment and 75% End Semester Examination. A mark statement will be issued to every
student at the end of the Programme.

For a pass in each paper a student should secure a minimum of 35% of marks in the End
Semester Examination and a minimum of 35% of marks in aggregate (CIA and End Semester
Examinations)
A candidate undergoing the Certificate in Data Entry Operations will be eligible for the
award of Certificate in Data Entry Operations if she completes the entire programme and
passed all the examinations prescribed for the Programme.
X. Other Provisions
Those who are absent for the exam should be mentioned AA in the mark sheet.
If there is a chance of malpractice by a student she should quit out from the Examination
hall and given chance during the next Semester only. The Paper she has already appeared
during that semester will not be considered.
A student can appear for any number of arrears.
Revaluation is permitted.
