This report presents details about the use of social media among 1st year SE students. Nowadays,
teenagers everywhere are addicted to use different social platforms, therefore I decided to do a
survey to find out if it is true.

I questioned 40 informants (1st year students) between 16 and 18 years. When I asked if they used
social media, they all answered with yes. I asked how many hours they spent on social media, 11 of
them said that they spent 4 hours and 29 of them said that they spent more. The informants said that
they used different platforms, 7 of them used Facebook, 12 of them used Instagram and 21 used
Tiktok. And for my final question, 13 of the informants said that they could spend a day without
using any platform while 27 said they couldn’t.

Our report showed that 1st SE students are in fact addicted to the use of social media.
This report presents details about the use of social media among 1st year SE students. Nowadays,
