Practice Paper 2
vi. What makes you complete work or studies without others cheering you? 1
i. Data is the core of any ML/AI algorithm. The number of students in a class or 1
total students appearing in an exam is an example of ____________.
a) Nominal data b) Discrete data c) Continuous data d) Ordinal data
ii. Image filtering changes the range (ie. The pixel value) of an image, so the 1
colours of the image are altered without changing the pixel positions, while
image warping changes the domain (ie. The pixel position) of an image, where
points are mapped to other points without changing the colours. Basically, it
alters the pixels of the image to transform it into desired form using different
types of graphical editing methods through a graphic design and editing
software. This image filtering process is followed in:
a) Facial recognition systems performing well for individuals of all skin tones.
b) Image recognition systems associating images of kitchens, shops, and
laundry with women rather than men.
c) Customers not being aware that they are interacting with a chatbot on a
company website.
vi. On an average the current boarding system wastes about 4mins per boarding 1
and about Rs 35000/day across all flights. The boarding protocols make the
company less competitive and so unfavourable brand image. Using a modified
boarding pattern, the passengers can board from sides rather than from front
to back This will eliminate 4mins of wastage. To solve this problem choose the
ideal problem statement template
b) The current boarding wastes time waiting at the airport so the passengers
should board the plane before the crew.
c)The boarding of the passengers should be done from the sides rather than
front to back.
3
Answer any 5 out of the given 6 questions (1 x 5 = 5 marks)
i. Assertion: Data visualization is a very important aspect of the AI Project cycle. 1
Reason: As Visualization makes the data look very colorful.
iv. Which of the following W of 4Ws canvas problem helps in analyzing the 1
affected people directly or indirectly?
iv. The ability of religious and spiritual awareness is related to which of the 1
following intelligence?
i. All the devices which are termed as “smart” are AI-enabled. (T/F) 1
a) Prediction is the input given to the machine to receive the expected result of
the reality.
c) The prediction is the output which is given by the machine and the reality is
the real scenario in which the prediction has been made.
iv. ____________is defined as the percentage of correct predictions out of all the 1
observations.
v. Recall-Evaluation method is 1
a) defined as the fraction of positive cases that are correctly identified.
b) defined as the percentage of true positive cases versus all the cases where
the prediction is true.
vi. In a medical diagnostic test for a specific disease, the model's predictions are 1
either "Positive" (Yes, the patient has the disease) or "Negative" (No, the
patient does not have the disease).
2. What is the outcome if the prediction is “Positive” but it does not match
the reality (i.e., the patient does not have the disease)?
17. What is Intelligence? Explain in brief all types of intelligence that are mainly
perceived by human beings? 4
18. As Artificially Intelligent machines become more and more powerful, their
ability to accomplish tedious tasks is becoming better. Hence, it is now that AI
machines have started replacing humans in factories. While people see it in a
negative way and say AI has the power to bring mass unemployment and one
day, machines would enslave humans, on the other hand, other people say
that machines are meant to ease our lives. If machines over take monotonous 4
and tedious tasks, humans should upgrade their skills to remain their masters
always.
19. As more and more new technologies get into play, risks will get more
concentrated into a common network. Cybersecurity becomes extremely
complicated in such scenarios and goes beyond the control of firewalls. It will
not be able to detect unusual activity and patterns including the movement of
data. Think about how AI algorithms can scrape through vast amounts of logs
to identify susceptible user behavior.

For the situation given above,
20. Through a step-by-step process, calculate TFIDF for the given corpus
Document 1: Nikhil and his friends went for a party.
2. Discuss which evaluation metric is most suitable for this scenario and
why.
