CURRENT TRENDS IN
INDONESIA
There were 88 653 200 Instagram users in
Indonesia in September 2021, which accounted
for 32.1% of its entire population.

The majority of them were women - 50.8%.

People aged 18 to 24 were the largest user


group (33 300 000).

The highest difference between men and women


occurs within people aged 13 to 17, where women
lead by 1 100 000.
As of July 2021, India was the leading country based on
Instagram audience size with 180 million users
accessing the photo sharing and editing app, followed
by the United States with 170 million users.

Brazil ranked third with 110 million Instagram users,


ahead of Indonesia with an audience of 93 million
users.
