ESSAY : Answer the following topics, 100 to 300 words

1. How can people maintain the rich biodiversity in nature?

Protecting nature's biodiversity is a team effort, involving conservation,

sustainable actions, and spreading awareness. Think of it like keeping a community
safe and thriving. First off, we need to safeguard natural homes for all kinds of plants
and animals. This means setting up protected zones, planting trees, and being careful
not to destroy habitats. Then, we can't forget about farming responsibly. By using
methods that don't harm the environment, like cutting down on pesticides, we can help
preserve biodiversity.

But it's not just about what we do individually; it's also about the rules we set as a
society. When governments and organizations make policies that support biodiversity, it
helps everyone manage resources wisely. Educating people about the importance of
biodiversity is key too. When we understand its value, we're more likely to make eco-
friendly choices in our daily lives.

Lastly, it's all about teamwork. Governments, NGOs, scientists, and local
communities need to join forces. By combining our knowledge and resources, we can
protect biodiversity for generations to come. Just like in any community, it takes
everyone working together to keep things thriving.

2. How would you reconcile the emerging needs of human beings regarding
their health and the need to protect the growth of biodiversity?

When it comes to our health and the well-being of our planet, finding a balance is
key. We can take steps that benefit both us and nature. For instance, choosing a
diet rich in fruits and vegetables not only keeps us healthy but also reduces the
strain on ecosystems. Creating green spaces in our cities not only gives us places to
relax but also protects habitats for wildlife. And when we explore natural remedies
for our health, like herbal medicine, we're not just helping ourselves but also

reducing our impact on the environment. By learning more about these choices, we
can live healthier lives while also taking care of our planet.

3. What do you think are the common human activities that can harm
biodiversity?

Sometimes, without realizing it, our everyday activities can harm the biodiversity
around us. For example, when we cut down forests to make room for buildings or
agriculture, we take away homes from countless species. Pollution, like dumping trash
into rivers or releasing harmful chemicals into the air, can also harm plants and animals.
Overfishing and hunting can upset the balance of ecosystems, leading to declines in
certain species. Even something as simple as using too much water or energy can have
ripple effects on the environment. By being mindful of how our actions affect nature, we
can take steps to minimize our impact and protect biodiversity for future generations.
