Course Description
§ The motivation for this course lies in the interest in providing a broad
viewpoint on Computer Networks and Communication by surveying
recent developments, major results, and hot topics in today’s leading-edge
research.

§ The course will cover the state of the art in networking paradigms such as
Ad-hoc Networks: VANETS MANETs, and WSNs, mobile and social
computing, Visible Light Communication, Software Defined Networking
(SDN), Data Center and ISP Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Network
Security, Big data and etc.

§ The main focus of this course is on topics of current research interest in


Computer Networking and Communications.
