Step-by-Step guide To Create an IBM Cloud Account using a Feature

Code
Step 1: Log in to online.rooman.com to access our LMS

Step 2: Access Pro Learn LMS.

1. Navigate to the Connect to SKILL NETWORK section and click the button.
Step 3: Once clicked you will be redirected to the Skill Network page where you will see a

username and password prompt.

Step 4: However, do not enter anything in those fields. Instead, click the Rooman SSO

button. Once you click the Rooman SSO button, you will be redirected to a page asking for

a username and password.


Step 5: Use the same email address you used to log in to online.rooman.com as your

username. The password is 121@1212snkds$ , which is the same for everyone.

Step 6: Once logged into Skill Network Use the search bar at the top of the course catalog

to search for "Introduction to Cloud".


1. Click the course.

2. Start the course and navigate through the modules. Expand Module 1 and go to
“Obtain an IBM Cloud Feature code”

Step 7: Retrieve the Feature Code

Please follow the below step to get Feature code:


Click Open Tool button.

Click ok button. And complete the Robot verification further.

Step 8: Enable the checkbox and Submit it.


This is where the feature code is usually provided.

• The feature code might look like: CC-BOT-XXXXX.

Copy the feature code. Save it somewhere accessible for later use.

Step 1: Visit the IBM Cloud Sign-Up Page

1. Open a new tab in your browser and go to the IBM Cloud registration
page: https://cloud.ibm.com/registration.
Provide the following information in Account Information:

i. Email Address: Use a valid email address that you can access
easily.

ii. Password: Create a strong password. IBM Cloud requires a mix


of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.

Verify Your Email

1. Check your email inbox for a verification email from IBM Cloud.

• Look in the Spam or Promotions folders if you don’t see it in the main
inbox.

2. Open the email and click the Verify Email button or link provided.

3. Once verified, log in to your IBM Cloud account.


Under Personal information section:

b. Fill out the required fields in the form:

i. First Name: Enter your first name.

ii. Last Name: Enter your last name.

c. Select your country/region from the dropdown menu.


Step 2: Complete the Account notice by enabling the checkbox

Enable the checkbox for agreements and Click Continue.


The system will process your information for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 3: On the next page, under Account Information, click the Register with Code option.
Under Apply Code, paste the feature code you received from Skill Network.
Step 5: Complete the process

• Click the Create Account button to submit the registration form.


• You will be automatically logged into your IBM Cloud dashboard.
