IV. Procedures
1. Introductory Activities (5 minutes).
For the students to settle down and concentrate on what the lesson is about, the teacher will
have a review or recap of the previous lesson. The teacher will ask the students to briefly
explain their previous lesson by giving just the main points or details.

2. Activity/Strategy (10 minutes).

To promote curiosity among students and further involve them, the teacher will conduct a
game. The name of the game is “Pass the Ball,” and the teacher will use a ball, strips of
paper with sentences on them, boxes, and some music to make it happen. To form a circle,
the students will either clear out the desks or have them play from their seats. The teacher
will start playing a song and have students pass the ball around the room. They can hand it,
toss it, or even spike it at each other. Then, the teacher will pause or stop the music and ask
the student holding the ball to draw a strip of paper. Depending on the level, the sentence
should include a personal pronoun (beginner level) or noun (advanced level). The student
holding the ball will identify either the personal pronoun in the sentence or restate the
sentence with a personal pronoun replacement. That student will get to stay in if they get it
right, but they are out if they get it wrong.

Scoring Method: If the students get it right, they will stay in the game. If the students get it
wrong, they are out of the game. The game is on until it is down to two people or until so
many students get them correct.

the video is playing, the teacher will constantly ask the students questions and provide
additional information if necessary. After the video presentation, the teacher will ask if

5. Application (5 minutes).

ways, the teacher will give them a practice activity, which they will attempt to answer
correctly. The teacher will have the students work in pairs to promote collaboration among
peers. In this activity, the teacher will provide five complete sentences, and each sentence
uses one to two nouns, which are highlighted. The students will have to rewrite the
sentences using personal pronouns by replacing the nouns that are highlighted. It will

assessment in which the students will incorporate their knowledge and understanding of the
use of personal pronouns effectively in a sentence. The assessment will be provided in a
printed form, and it contains a situation in which they have to imagine that they were in that
situation. Then, they will use at least five personal pronouns and opinion words to express
