you to CODE BYTE 1.0, a 12-hours Hackathon.

Join us for an exciting and innovative hackathon


where creativity meets technology! Whether you're
a coder or problem-solver, this is your chance to
collaborate, learn, and create solutions that could
make a real impact. Compete, network, and
showcase your skills in a high-energy environment
filled with inspiration and endless possibilities. Don’t

INSTRUCTIONS
The duration of the hackathon will be 12 hours .

The participating team will be required to submit a solution


for one of the problem Statement.

The teams will be free to choose any problem statement.

The problem statement shall not be amended once the round 1


presentation is complete i.e the presented topic in round 1 shall
be the team's final problem statement.

Participants must be in possession of their student IDs at the time


of registration and on the day of the event.
Internet facilities will be provided at the venue.

Participants have the freedom to refer to any platform or


resources on the internet to aid their development of the solution.

Eligibility:
The Hackathon is Open for all of the Engineering Colleges

Participants must register in teams of 2-4 members.

Each team member must be a current student of any


engineering colleges of Mumbai Region.

Registration: All participants must register by 27nd
January. Late registrations will not be accepted.

Project Submission: Each team must submit their final


project by the end of the 12-hours hackathon. No late
submissions will be accepted.

Development Environment: You are free to bring your own


devices and tools (laptops, software, etc.) for coding. Internet
access will be provided. Also Carry the Extension Boards.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Carry your college ID card.
Follow the schedule and stay on campus for the entire
event.
Be polite and respectful to staff, organizers, and
participants.
Keep the campus clean; do not litter, scribble, or
damage property.
Misuse of campus facilities will result in strict action.
Maintain discipline and orderly conduct throughout the
event.
Projects must be original work created during the event.
Plagiarism / using pre-existing code or solutions from
external sources (unless properly attributed), or reusing
past projects is prohibited.
All work should be done within the team. Any
collaboration with external teams or individuals outside
of your team will result in disqualification.

Who can participate in CODE BYTE 1.0 ?
Anyone with an interest in coding, design, cybersecurity, or
innovation can participate! Whether you’re a beginner or an
experienced developer, all skill levels are welcome.

How do I register for the hackathon?

You can register by scanning the QR before the deadline.

What should I bring to an in-person hackathon?


Bring laptop and charger, Any required software/tools installed ,
a valid ID.

What tech stack can I use?

You are free to use any programming language,


framework, or tool that suits your project.

Do I need to have coding experience to participate?

No, you don’t need coding experience to participate. We


welcome people with various skills, including designers,
marketers, and product managers.

Can I participate in multiple teams?

No, each participant can only be part of one team.
