Each class had a target.

4E – 8.2 4SE - 8.8

4W – 9.0 4NE - 8.0

4S - 8.5 4C - 8.7

4N – 8.5

The overall target for the class is 8.36.

- The parents were told the class slogan as Ýes we can’’

- Each class discussed its performance with the class teacher, class representative, parents and
students.

- parents were told of the programmes of form 4s which include;

i) Group discussion

ii) Extramile

iii) Normal class lessons.

- Parents accepted to support the programmes to achieve the set targets.

- They also supported the organized academic trips organized by different classes.

- They also promised to pay the outstanding fees balance on time.

- All the parents of the 7 streams agreed to buy the new school bus (scania).

- All parents agreed to pay 2000/- to support the programmes briefed to them by respective class
teachers.

MIN. 1: SYLLABUS COVERAGE


- It was agreed that syllabus be completed by the end of 31st March so as to give learners ample
time for revision.

- Teachers were called upon to cooperate so as to ensure that this is achieved in good time.

MIN. 2: PLANNED REVISION PROGRAMMES

- Parents were informed that proper programmes had been planned so as to ensure proper
revision of question is done to give learners hope of making it in exams.

MIN. 3: EXTRA MILE LESSONS


- Parents did agree that examination mentors, were to be brought on board so as to help the
student’s to understand better some of terms that were used in setting and techniques of
handling examinations.

MIN. 5: OPEN TERM RESULT ANALYSIS


- Parents were discouraged with the open term results
- This was due to poor reading culture when students left for December holidays.
- Most parents agreed that their sons never read while they were at home.
- Students were encouraged to put in more effort for better results.

MIN. 6: ACADEMIC TRIP


- Parents also discussed about academic trip for the class.
- They agreed to pay some cash so as to enable students attend academic trip.
- The place & venue to go was to be decided by the class teacher and later on communicated to
parents.

A.O.B
- Students were told to remain discipline, since its only discipline that will yield good results.
- The meeting ended with a word of prayer from one of the parents.

FORM 4NE –
INTRODUCTION
Parent representative welcomed all the parents. She also thanked them for their attendance.

FEES PAYMENT
Parents thanked the new management concerning school fees they all agreed that the school fees
balance will be cleared after mid term. Those who will have not paid by then, the children will send
back home.

EXTRA MILE
All the parents agreed that they will support school programme for instance Extra-lesson, they all
agree to pay the 2000 per term.

This will help in clearing the syllabus by 31st of March 2019.

SCHOOL PROJECT (SCANIA BUS)

Parents agreed to support the school management in purchasing the scania bus, which will be paid
in 2 phases 1st phase – 4000/= )1st term) & 2nd phase – 300- 2nd term)
Most of 4NE parents have cleared 1st term fees including the extra money for the scania bus (4000).

A.O.B

Team – Teaching was requested to students among some subjects e.g Maths due to some problems
as a class that they have been having.

ADJOURNMENT
Having no any other business the meeting was closed with a word of prayer from one of the parents.

FORM 4S

The meeting resolved on the following;


1. The parents agreed to contribute towards the purchase of new school bus.

2. The parents were happy about the school programmes. They were of the view that the academic
programmes were going to enable their children improve and do well. As such, they unanimously
resolved to support the programmes by paying/funding for these programmes including the
extra-mile programme.

3. When learners are going home, the parents to be notified through calls, sms and when the
students leave home the parents to notify the school that the student has left home.

MIN. 01/2019: PRELIMINARIES


The meeting was started by prayer from a student of 4C Fred Mnangat and the meeting started by
the chairperson.

MIN. 02/2019: MATTERS ARISING

- Mr. Gesike suggested that the students should pass from 4C+ to B. The class has been
performing well since form one.

- He suggested that parents should buy revision KCSE Made familiar to boost the results.
He suggested that the deadline was half term.
- He was seconded by Mr.Nyakundi who encouraged the students to work hard and not depend
on stealing of exams.

- By 31st March being the end of syllabus during second term the revision of history will begin.

- A trip also to National Assembly, National archives, court that costs 3,500.

- Mrs. Omina suggested that parents have buy the calculator, mathematical tables, 30cm ruler.
The parents should involve them in the performance of their sons and even encourage them.

- She encouraged students to consult whenever they have not understood.

- Mrs. Florence suggested that class is very disciplined but they are not good students. The
parents should buy their sons the four setbooks because the setbooks cover 65% of the English
paper. The English mean was 4.0 . consultation and failure of using/observing the language
policy. The revision materials are in the library. The mean of the English is 8.5. Position 2 with
quality grades.

- Mr Lomus the teacher of Physics suggested that the students should first pay attention of their
studies then other things would follow later. The students should adhere to what they are being
told.

MIN. 3/2019: THE PROGRAMS OF THE SCHOOL


-The completion of syllabus at 31st March and the teacher and students agreed to work together to
adhere to it.

- The program of the involving a motivational speaker to advice students accordingly during the
weekends to help boost the students performance.

- The group discussions are made to enable students to work together to achieve the best in their
studies and even to help to boost students who are below average.

- The extramile lessons are made to boost the subject coverage of their studies.

- Academic trip is meant to help students to remember what they are taught in classes. This trip is
meant for different subjects such as Chemistry and History.

MIN. 4/2019: THE CHALLENGES THAT WE INCUR

- The late coming of students reach the school very late due to some reasons of which parents are
involved in it thus parents are encouraged to enable their sons be in school early.

- The missing of exams is another big issue where students miss lessons without a reasonable
reason. Students are encouraged to play their part well because exams are meant for their
benefit.

- Fees payment goes to parents. Parents are encouraged to pay fees earlier so that they may
settle and work smart in their studies.

- Revision materials for Chemistry (made familiar), English (setbooks) parents ought to buy for
their sons.

MIN. 5/19: THE PARENTS CONTRIBUTION AND COMMENTS


- A parent contributed to the meeting congratulating the students for improving but also
encouraged the parents to ensure that they consult their sons’ performance and make sure he
does well. Mama Margret Ogola.

- Mr. Daniel Bamo also commented on the meeting by saying that the students are disciplined but
also lazy. He encouraged them to work hard. He congratulated the chairperson by ensuring they
get in contact through whatsapp and also commented that there should be no negative
comments on whatsapp.

- A parent also talked about fees that being 2019 the last year for the students, they should be
exempted from paying for the bus to ensure parents clear their fees balance.

- A parent also said that for those parents who are not able to be on whatsapp suggested that
teachers should provide enough homework in hard copies.

MIN. 6/19: A.O.B

- Mr. Gesike talked about last years’results that never belong to the 2019 class thus the 2019
candidates should focus on their results.

- The last years’ group were very indiscipline. They believed that they can cheat in exams, went
ahead and sum up some money to buy exams. Everyone should focus on 4 central 2019. The
students are generally discipline.

- He also concerned the sacrifice of their parents towards their students.

- He was seconded by a parent and he said that he will support teachers’ program being the
4th year to ensure that.

- He suggested that there is challenge in subjects such as Kiswahili and Mathematics and thus said
these subjects should be given alot of consideration and those subjects that are better should be
left for students to work for themselves. Teachers to address these areas with weakness.

- He came up with an example whereby a certain student went for an eye operation but he was
done a tooth/jaw operation. This is because of poor prescription this he encouraged students to
work hard to perform/become successful tomorrow.

- The choosing for a class representative.

- The chairperson concluded that parents should be able to have performance sheet for his
student & fees statement.

- MIN. 7/19: ADJOURNMENT

The meeting ended with a prayer from a parent. Parents and teachers left at their own pleasure.

FORM 4 EAST
1. Parents were happy with improved results, urged teachers to work harder to hit their target
of completing syllabus early.

2. Agreed to help the school to buy scania bus.

3. A trip to be organised for the class.

4. Indisciplined students to be punished.

FORM 4 NORTH

1. Timely payment of school fees


2. Motivation of students and teachers.
3. Increasing commutation, consultation and cooperation among teachers, students and parents.
4. Hastening discipline among students.
5. Creation of a way of channelling the extra mile fees not through students.

FORM 4 WEST

The turnout of parents was commendable.

Most parents were impressed by the discipline and neatness of students. They said they had given
the school administration all mandate to deal with indiscipline cases accordingly.

The parents plea was that the syllabus be covered in time to allow for thorough revision. To help
realise this, they unanimously agreed to support the school programmes in place by paying the
school fees and extramile fee of Kshs. 2000.

They were of the opinion that teachers embrace team-teaching and do revision on the basis of the
students ability.

Moreover, they suggested that students be motivated through academic trips in which regard they
promised to pay the money for the scania bus.

They were impressed by the class target of 9.0 of which they said is attainable if only they remain
focussed and put in deliberate effort.
