Worksheet 4 - Evaluating a spreadsheet model of the traffic

Task: Evaluate the spreadsheet model


3)​ Make sure you have the file open (follow Steps 1) and 2)).
Your spreadsheet should look like this:

5)​ Evaluate the spreadsheet against all five of the user requirements. ​
As you evaluate the spreadsheet model, check the following:

(a)​ Does the model contain all the data needed to generate a full picture of the scenario?

(b)​ Does the model meet each of the user requirements? ​


(As you evaluate the spreadsheet, make a list of any of the requirements it does not meet.)

-​ User requirement number 1: Yes - In cell E30


-​ User requirement number 2: No - No info or mention of lorries on the model
-​ User requirement 3: No - Wrong formula (Using AVERAGE instead of COUNT)
-​ User requirement 4: No - Wrong formula (Using MIN instead of MAX for highest number of cars)
-​ User requirement 5: No - True and false statements were swapped around
(c)​ Do all the formulas produce the correct results? ​
(Carefully check every formula and correct any mistakes you find. Save your copy of the spreadsheet)
