INT. BEDROOM - DAY

We are slowly zooming out away from a extreme close up of a

huge photo frame of Peter(29M) dancing.

Just below the frame, it is slowly revealed, we see Peter on

his bed having his towel bath by his mom.

In montages we see his mom feed him breakfast, give him

medicines, help him dress.

As his mom helps him wear his shirt...

MOM

PETER
Mani enna?
(he turns to clock)

MOM
Seri, Biriyani eh panidava?

PETER

(as he lays onto the bed)

CUT TO , We see Montages of Biriyani being cooked.

Biriyani is not fully made, and the Camera stays in the last
clip of the montage.

We hear a bell ring, mom walks out to get the door.

Camera stays in kitchen, we hear the friends enter the

house, and barely see them.

SATHISH
Hi auntyy

MOM
Va va

Srikar(28M) sniffs and says

SRIKAR
Aunty biriyani ah?

MOM
Naai ah vida mosam da nee

Sathish(29M) laughs loud.

We cut to Peter, he tries to get up, but struggles

SRIKAR

SATHISH

MOM

SATHISH
Ohh

MOM

SATHISH

(as he walks, he gets
closer to the door)

We hear Sathish get closer as we still see Peter trying to

get up.

Sathish opens the door and sees Peter struggling to get up,
he rushes to him, and holds his shoulder.

SATHISH

(as he holds peter)

Sathish holds peters hand and Peter screams

PETER
Arghh..

SATHISH
Ayayo enachu

PETER

Sathish shrinks his face

Sathish helps peter lean towards the bed while laying, and
he in front of Peter.

SRIKAR

Srikar looks confused, because he thinks it would be

inappropriate to ask about his leg.

Srikar smiles and silence slowly fills in.

Peter couldn't believe what he heard, we see him stay still.

We see Peter,between the other two.

Suddenly we hear THE TRAIN pass through Peters house,

A LOUD-JARRING weird train sound.

The moment we hear the train both Srikar and Sathish give
a big jerk, and Peter in between them, doesn't move a inch.

We slowly pan towards Peter, passing through Srikar and

Sathish.

The same music that played in the opening is played.

We hear Srikar and Sathish talk, its muffled yet audible.

*muffled convo*

SATHISH

As we get closer to Peter, Srikar calls him and that cuts

everything.

moment and realizes how
beautiful Dance is and

When we hear "Dance" it echoes and we CUT TO elsewhere.

INT. SOMEWHERE

ALL IN SLOW MOTION

We cut to a Party, in a hall, in a house.

People are dancing.

We are far away from the people partying, not too far, we
still see them, we are at other side of the room.

We along with the camera pan slowly towards them.

We see Peter at the centre.

He looks charming and younger, dances like a Tamil Hero,

carrying all that energy with him.

He is dancing alone, lost in his world.

Others are dancing mostly alone, and a few with someone

else, holding drinks.

Camera eventually reaches closer to Peter, we him drenched

in sweat, with drops falling from all over his face.

We hear him narrate with utmost passion, slowly in a husky

tone, drags almost each word.

PETER(V.O.)
apdiye verve sotta sotta
adumbodhu..its all over your body,
that sweat after your dance smells
different...its something
else...not your sweat...I every
time wait to smell like that

Matching his narration, we see visuals of Peter's chest

being filled with sweat and then watch it flow to fill his
belly.

We see his hair drenched in sweat, with edges filled with

droplets, some falling.

We see Peter, only his face in close up, he watches directly

to the camera, wipes his sweat with his hands.

In close up, we see his hands splash the sweat and the turn
to glitters, and we hear them.

We him move his left to right, his wet hair splashes water
and follows the motion, thos droplets turn glitters too.

A very dreamy like.

PETER(V.O.)
and slowly theres no one around you
and...evreything else within you
comes out...vaporizing...

Peters starts to cry, he is crying but does not stop

dancing, crying for something we don't know.

Someone from his left, wipes his tears, they shout something
to his face , holding his head.

Peter laughs as he cries, and then the man moves to the

right, with so much energy, dancing.

PETER(V.O.)
And then...ellam fade, onu ona...

People, Things, everything around him fades, one by one.

PETER(V.O.)
avanga loda insecruities, kovam,
bayam, prechanaigal ellam....POOF.

People behind Peter, fade one by one ,corresponding to when

he says insecurities and others.

Its all dark now. Its only Peter now.

We see him DANCE.

PETER(V.O.)
and then you're all alone
...talking to yourself...dance
makes you talk to
yourself...creating a very personal
relationship, its almost like
having sex with your partner, dance
is...they dont have to know how to
dance nama kooda serndhu gudhicha

only artform that gives an

Theres a Pause, and a moment later.

PETER(V.O.)
*sighs* Ahhhhh...

We CUT back to bedroom.

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

We see Peter, with both his hands brought top, parallel to

his chest, with eyes closed.

PETER
Gone
(as he gestures "gone" in
his hands)

He opens his eyes.

PETER

nenachen...adha dhan uruvaka
nenachen.

Srikar does not know how to react yet he does it.

SRIKAR

(to Sathish)

it.

Peter knows this, because its always been like that.

PETER
Ama...You guys never understood it.

SATHISH

Breaking the awkward silence...

Suddenly enters Keerthana in the room, everybody looks

surprised and excited.

She walks fast, puts her bag down and looks tired.

She's one of those, confident, know-it all kinda person,

trying to bring all attention towards her.

(as she enters)

PETER

(as he chuckles)

except for Peter.

The whole scene shits towards Peter, we dont hear them

anymore.

Peter sees them, he is not able to understand how they all

earn money, and we visibly see it on his face, and its all
in slow motion.

And to break that silence we hear THE TRAIN.

The same weird train sound, Peter jerks, his eyes open wide,
he can't bear the sound this time.

He sees them and they all still continue to laugh and chat,
as if nothing has happened.

We hear Keerthana call Peter and everything is gone.

Peter breathes heavily, we hear him breathe.

And in extreme close up, we only see keerthana's mouth

KEERTHANA
Peter, un room sevuru nala iruku,

(in a very psychic way,
with camera extreme
close up to Peter)

(we only hear her, we
stay with Peter)

PETER
Nothing...use paniko.

A pause and then

THE TRAIN

Peter screams lound, trying to tear apart his own face, that
sound, so jarring, makes him go crazy.

Peter walks out of his bed, running to the wall opposite,

rests his head covering it with both hands.

PETER
Niruthunga daaa adhaaa...ARGHHHHH
ungala la dhan da.

We also hear him cry as he screams.

PETER
ARRRGGHHHHH!!!

Peter turns back at his friends with his eyes completely

red.

PETER
UNGALALA DHAN DA AVLO SATHAM!!!

We still hear the train sound.

Turns back to the wall, the pain is unbearable.

manic as he turns back at

(he turns and rushes
towards them as he
screams)

Just before he could, two people from back pull him away
from launching at his friends, with the force he launched at
the them, he was almost in air when he was pulled back,
yegri yegri varan trying to break loose.

We dont see the people, we only see their hands.

Camera is close to Peter, as he his being dragged.

They put him in a reclining restraint bed and lock his

hands, and put a black cloth over his head.

He then begs to his friends to stop the train sound

PETER

Abruptly a black cloth is put over Peter's head.

It all quiet now.

CUT TO

INT. SOMEWHERE

The cloth is pulled out.

We see Peter, its quiet now.

Its all dark around him.

A Light emerges in front of him. Its a STAGE.

People clap behind him, we only hear them.

We see Sathish, Srikar, Keerthana enter the stage.

Music plays and they start to dance.

We them dance in slow motion.

Its so bad, its not even Dance.

They jump like monkeys, moving their body's with no energy

and expression.

Its one of the most disgusting things any one could watch.

We and Peter see that all in slow motion, with so much

dissolve cuts.

Sathish copies the same stupid step that Srikar or Keerthana

does.

There is a pole and they start to pole dance, all three

dance.

Moments later, All of them start to jump.

KEERTHANA
Needhan even just simply jumping
along with us is therapeutic

As they all jump, the screen starts to shake, we hear the

rumbling.

We see Peter, as we pan towards and theres a mild rumbling

heard.

The rumbling gradually increases and then

THE TRAIN

INT. HOSPITAL

Peter his laying down on a bed, still tied, and screams out
of pain.

We see it from his POV.

He notices he parents leaves the room, his mom crying,

covering her mouth with her saree.

PETER
(he shouts to call them)
AMMAA AMMAA AAMMAA APPAA APPAAA

They don't respond to him as they leave the room.

A doctor from his right enters the scene.

PETER
(he screams)
Doctor amma ve koopdungaa pls

DCOTOR
Avanga varamtanga pa...un kaal ah

Peter looks terrified and cries out loud.

PETER
Doctor doctor pls doctor plss

(as he chuckles)

Peter continues screams and beg but the doctor does not
stop.

We see the Doctor twist and turn Peters leg with his hands,
with blood splashing on to the screen, the blood fills the
screen to black as we hear him scream.

A moment later.

CUT TO

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

We see in extreme close up, Sathish, Srikar, Keerthana, eat

the biriyani.

We hear them chew.

We see and hear their disgusting mouths, chewing the meat,

picking stuffs from their mouth.

We see them Crushing the meat.

The chew gets louder and the sound is broken by Peter's mom.

MOM
Sapdura!

Lost in thought Peter nods yes and starts eating.

Moments later.

INT. KITCHEN

We see Keerthana wash her hands, we only see her hands, and
hear their conversations.

KEERTHANA
Aunty Biriyani sooper.

MOM
Thanks ma...Sathish epdi irunchu?

SATHISH
Best aunty, nalaa sapten.

MOM
Nee da Srikar?

Srikar gives loud burp and they all laugh.

INT. BEDROOM

We see Sathish, Srikar, Keerthana leave.

Saying bye to Peter and he waves back at them.

His mother leaves the room along with them.

Its entirely quiet now.

We slowly pan towards Peter.

His expression shits, he starts to cry.

Her cries loud out of pain.

He screams as he cries.

His hand reaches his paralyzed leg, punching his knee and
then on the bed.

We hear him cry for alomost a minute, he is soaked in his

tears.

And all of a sudden he turns angry, he turns to the photo

frame, that is hanged on the wall on top of him.

He wants to destroy that photo, he tries to reach it, its

just out of his reach, he slams the wall and cries out loud.

This makes him feel worse and as he cries loud, camera turns
to the floor slowly panning away from him.

The screen slowly fades to black.

Its a complete black screen.

We see someone get up from below the screen.

The camera slowly turns towards in front of them.

Its Peter, he looks ready.

He wears a costume.

And as the music beats hit, Matching the beat, he makes a

powerful movement, lifting his right hand above, just one
move.

And as he does this, a small translucent rainbow emerges out

from his right side of the body.

And it slowly fades away.

This repeats for a few times until the music sets fora
constant tune.

We see Peter dance gracefully, He is the greatest dancer

that ever could, but now can ever be.

As we see him dance, the title is put Beside him.
