Intro to Excel

 Wrap text to show the whole title in one cell


 Always space the one cell that you wrapped text
 Use times new roman and use the paint icon in font area and highlight
your table
 Use all boarders in the font section that looks like a box
 If i want to delate and highlight row 4 for example and right click and
delete

Pie chart
 To get rid of what each color means on the bottom uncheck legend when you hit the +
sign
 Data numbers hit data labels and then hit outside end for example and add category
names to help explain data

Column chart

 To sort of the bar graph highlight data then go to data and click the sort button and do
smallest to largest to have largest at top and the opposite if smallest on top

Regular retail price=cost (1+markup

Sale price= regualr retail price *(1-percent off (15%))

Profit = sale –cost

Profit margin= (sale price-cost)/sale price
