Cassie and I also share some differences.

Firstly, Cassie lives in the racially segregated South during the Great
Depression, a time and place with specific social and economic
challenges. My experiences are shaped by a different cultural and
historical context, which influences my perspectives and challenges.

Secondly, while Cassie’s experiences are deeply rooted in the racial


injustices of her time, my personal experiences with injustice differ
based on my unique environment and circumstances.

Lastly, Cassie’s family dynamics, including the roles and occupations of


her family members, differ from my own family structure and the roles
within it.
