Perform the following tasks on the raw file you downloaded.

1. On Slides 3, 4, and 5, change the


background color of the slides to a
light green solid color.
2. On slides 6, 7, and 8, change the
background color of the slides to a
light red or orange solid color.
Perform the following tasks on the raw file you downloaded.

3. In Slide 3, select the text box with the


word “TIMER” and change its duration to
10 seconds.
4. In Slide 3, select the text box with the
word “FOOTNOTE” and apply a Fade
entrance animation.

Definition Hyperlink

A hyperlink is a clickable object or text that


can go to specific slides or opens other
applications or files.
STEPS TO APPLY A HYPERLINK

STEP 1 Select the text or object to apply a hyperlink

Go to the Insert menu and click on

5. In Slide 2, add a hyperlink to the “EASY”


text box and link it to the slide
containing the first easy question.
6. In Slide 2, add a hyperlink to the “HARD”
text box and link it to the slide
containing the first hard question.

ACTION BUTTONS
Action buttons can be used to do a variety of
actions during presentation.

Some of these actions are: move to a different slide, launch an


application, play a video, or play an audio clip
STEPS TO INSERT AN ACTION BUTTON

STEP 1 Go to the Insert menu, then click on Shapes.

Select an action button from the Action


Buttons panel (usually found at the bottom)

NOTE

To view the name of the action button, put your mouse over a
selection and wait for the name to appear.

Draw the action button by clicking


anywhere on the slide or dragging
it to give your desired size

the action for your action button

button: Action Button:
Go Home and apply a
hyperlink that will let it
go to Slide 2 when
clicked on. Place the
action button on the
lower right of the slide.
