From the Principal’s Desk…..
There is a beautiful saying 'Shakespeare did not go to college, but today no one can walk out of
college without studying Shakespeare's work'. It gives me pleasure to talk about this great stalwart
in the world of English literature. Personally, I have loved reading his works although I must confess
that the original pieces made little sense to me. I would read works explaining the same to follow
the use of language in the works. The sonnets have been my favourites when compared to the
plays. In today's context, Shakespeare's work is being looked upon as irrelevant to the age.

With the birth of new age writing in this 'technical' world, old English phraseology seems redundant. I reckon writing in the new

the much talked about ChatGPT. The AI tool, a master invention! The app gives the answer to practically everything under the
sun, to the extent of describing 'me' to myself with certain prompts. What it can do to one's creativity is worth an argument.
However, a lot of jobs are at stake is how the world looks at this brilliant App. Having said this, writing is the brain's way of
expressing thoughts. It is a lovely skill which brings about reflection and deep contemplation, one that can be experienced only
by writers. It not only improves expression, but also motivates one to develop varied perspectives on different scenarios or
topics. I would urge every reader to indulge in writing, for a writer only created ChatGPT.

Amelia slowly went near the monster which was ten times larger than her. The monster looked exactly like the sea creatures. Suddenly the chains hit

The monster woke up by hearing the noise.

Amelia was able to put the stone in the monsters locket just in time. Suddenly A very bright light fell on Amelia and she teleported back to the shore. She opened

Amelia told to leave the matter and enjoy the trip.

When Amelia came back to the hotel she kept thinking about what she forgot.

AI - Opportunity or Risk?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most trending topics in today's world, and it has been influencing our lives in many ways.
From driverless cars to automated factories, AI has become an integral part of modern technology. While some people see AI as an opportunity for progress
and growth, others view it as a risk that could potentially threaten jobs and security. We'll explore both sides of the argument and discover whether AI is truly
an opportunity or a risk for society. When it comes to artificial intelligence (AI), there are both pros and cons to consider. On the one hand, AI has the potential
to revolutionize various industries and make our lives easier in a number of ways. For instance, it could help us automate repetitive tasks, make better decisions
by analysing data more effectively, and even improve our ability to communicate with one another. We have seen how online shopping portals and social
media sites suggest products and services based on the search history of a user.

On the other hand, there are also certain risks associated with AI. For example, as AI gets better at completing certain tasks, there is a risk of jobs becoming
automated out of existence. Additionally, if not properly regulated, AI could be used for malicious purposes such as identity theft or creating false news stories.
Moreover, AI lacks the human touch and has no ability to reason out or act rationally which may cause situations conflicting with human values.

Overall, whether or not AI is viewed as an opportunity or a risk depends on one's perspective. There are potential benefits and drawbacks to consider when
making a decision about whether or not to use AI in any given situation. With proper regulation and oversight, AI has the potential to greatly improve our
world in a number of ways. These are all important questions that need to be considered as we move forward with developing this technology.

Building Emotional Intelligence- The right way forward

As students progress through their academic journey, their social and mental well-being become crucial for their overall development. Parents
and teachers play a significant role in ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive in their personal and academic lives. In
this article, we will explore the responsibilities of parents and teachers in promoting the social and mental well-being of students.

Responsibility of Parents:

❑Parents are the first and most important teachers in a child's life. They have a critical role in shaping their child's social and mental well-
being. Here are some ways in which parents can promote their child's social and mental well-being:

❑Create a Safe and Supportive Home Environment: A safe and supportive home environment helps children to develop their self-esteem and
sense of belonging. Parents should ensure that their home is a place where their child feels secure and loved

❑Encourage Open Communication: Encouraging open communication helps children to express their emotions and feelings. Parents should
make time to listen to their child and be available to talk about their concerns and worries.

❑Promote Healthy Habits: Parents should encourage their child to adopt healthy habits like exercise, proper nutrition, and adequate sleep.
These habits are essential for good mental health and well-being.

❑Set Realistic Expectations: Parents should set realistic expectations for their child's academic and personal development. Unrealistic
expectations can lead to stress and anxiety, which can negatively impact a child's mental health.
Responsibility of Teachers:

Teachers play a significant role in promoting the social and mental well-being of students. Here are some ways in which teachers can promote
their student's social and mental well-being:

❑ Create a Positive Classroom Environment: A positive classroom environment helps students feel safe, respected, and valued. Teachers
should create an environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.

❑ Foster Positive Relationships: Positive relationships between teachers and students promote trust and respect. Teachers should make an
effort to build positive relationships with their students and show an interest in their personal lives.

❑ Provide Support: Teachers should provide support to students who are struggling academically or socially. They should be aware of the signs
of mental health issues and be ready to offer support and guidance to students in need.

❑ Encourage Self-Care: Teachers should encourage students to practice self-care by taking breaks, getting enough sleep, and participating in
activities they enjoy. These habits are essential for good mental health and well-being.

In conclusion, parents and teachers play an important role in promoting the social and mental well-being of students. By creating a safe and
supportive environment, fostering positive relationships, and providing support and guidance, parents and teachers can help students to thrive
academically and personally. It is the responsibility of parents and teachers to work together to ensure that students receive the care and
support they need to succeed.
