COURSE DESCRIPTION The course covers metrology and calculations applied in the practice of pharmacy.

COURSE OUTCOMES At the end of the semester, the student should be able to:

a. Demonstrate mastery of the different systems of weights and measures in pharmacy practice.
b. Interpret prescriptions and medication orders.
c. Perform mathematical operations used in the practice of pharmacy.
d. Solve problems related to compounding and dispensing of drugs.
