Science Unite: A
journey Through
SciMath”
It is a stage where students, educators, and enthusiasts alike converge to showcase the
marvels of science and mathematics that shape our understanding of the world. The
Science and Math Celebration transcends not just the traditional classroom setting but
creates an atmosphere where learning becomes a dynamic and interactive experience.
Through hands-on exhibits, captivating presentations, and collaborative projects, we not
only absorb knowledge but also actively contribute to the collective pool of intellectual
achievement.
The Science and Math Celebration, an annual affair that has etched its place in the
academic calendar, seeks to ignite the flames of scientific inquiry and mathematical
thinking within the hearts and minds of our dynamic students. It was not just about
theoretical concepts confined to textbooks; it was an immersive experience that allowed
students to witness the magic of science and math firsthand. The celebration
transformed our institution to unveil not only the mysteries of the natural world but also
the simplicity of mathematical proofs for the secrets that surround us.
This narrative report aims to capture the essence of our exploration during this Science
and Math Celebration, highlighting the diverse range of activities unfolding during this
enriching experience and weaving together the tales of exploration, experimentation,
and the joy of unwavering threads of knowledge. Where the seeds of curiosity became
last and treasured into their minds, and to push the boundaries of understanding through
the transformative power of education.
Let this narrative serve as a collective understanding to push the boundaries of unending
learning. As we celebrate not just the beauty of science and math but also the flames of
curiosity that have driven our young learners and human progress to a wide range of
these massive changes in life.
Last September 29, 2023, we had our culminating activity in celebration with the Science
and Math Celebration Month.
Here is the flow of the program during the Science and Math Fair 2023:

In the afternoon, we started our celebration with our daily rosary, to seek guidance from
our creator for the success of our Science and Math Fair.
After the rosary, we started our simple yet fun celebration of the Science and Math Fair.
We started it with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by some opening
remarks. A er the opening remarks, we had our film viewing, wherein we prepared a
series of math and science films. It is composed of the Mathinik, Mathdali, and
Sineskwela series. The pupils were very engaged as they watched the videos. The feeling
was nostalgic!
After the film viewing, we conducted the sci-math quiz bowl by
grade level. A series of questions were prepared by the advisers,
composed of easy, average, and difficult questions. Through this,
the teachers were able to test the pupils understanding and
knowledge about science and math problems.
In conclusion, the Science and Math Fair will not be a successful event without the help of
our administrative heads, who are very willing to lend a hand to us to make this event
successful through the collaborative efforts not just the students but also our co-teachers
and parents as well.
It is not only celebrating the achievements of the participants but also demonstrating
academic achievement and fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and teamwork.
One of the distinctive features of this fair was the integration of science and
mathematics, which serves to encourage students to become actively engaged, as
highlighted through their own educational experiences.
These events served as a platform for cultivating love for science and mathematics,
fostering critical thinking skills, and preparing students for their future, where
interdisciplinary knowledge and collaboration are key drivers of success.
Teachers served not only as educators but also as facilitators, encouraging critical
thinking and problem-solving skills that were provided by our dedicated teachers. Their
commitment to nurturing the students.
This collaborative effort not only enhanced the quality of the projects but also nurtured
valuable interpersonal skills among the participants.
As we reflect on the accomplishments of the Science and Math Fair, we are reminded that
education is not merely a destination but a continuous journey enriched by collaboration,
exploration, and the unwavering dedication of both students and teachers alike. We look
forward to building on this foundation and continuing to inspire the next generation of
scientists and mathematicians.
