Introduction

This report summarizes the weather in Dehradun


& Pondicherry from June 1 to June 10, 2024. It
includes daily temperature, UV index,
precipitation, humidity, wind speed, sunrise, &
sunset times to compare how the weather differs
between these cities during this period.

For this project I have used Oobase(Open Office


base) by Apache. This software is quiet easy to use
& provide a variety of option for proper outcomes.
In this project I have also created some field with the help
of design view option provided by the Open Office Base.

Objective

The objective of this temperature report is to analyze daily


temperature changes over a specific period. The report
will identify patterns, compare current data with past
record, & help underst& weather trends & their potential
impact

1.How to Create Database


Steps to Create a Database
are:
Launch Apache OpenOffice.
Go to File > New > Database. This
opens the Database Wizard.

In the Database Wizard, select Create


a new database.
Click Next.
Register the database: This option
allows you to register the database
with OpenOffice so it can be accessed
through the application.

2. How to Create a Table


Steps to Create a Table are:
In the Database window, click on
the Tables section in the left-h&
pane.

Click `Use Wizard to Create Table’ or


`Create Table in Design view’ in the
Tables section.

Follow the prompts in the wizard to


select fields, set field types, &
define table properties.
Click Finish.

Once done a table will be shown to you

3.How to Create a Form


Steps to Create a Form are:
In the Database window, click on the
Forms section in the left-h& pane.
Click Use Wizard to Create Form in
the Forms section. This will launch the
Form Wizard.
A dialog box will appear.

Select the Table for which you


are creating the form.
Choose the required fields.

Arrange controls.
Click on Finish.

 Now you are good to go with the entries.

4.Enter Data Using Form


Steps to enter data in table using form:
Now when u have created the form
just enter the data in it.

Once done with one entry click on


the next record bottom placed at
the button.

5.Relationship Between Two


Tables
The steps to make Relationship
between are:

To make a Relationship first of


you should have at least two
tables.
Click on the Tool> Relationship.
A dialog box will appear choose
the tables.
Then add those table by clicking the
Add button given on the right of the
dialog box appeared earlier.

• After adding the tables just make a relation


by just simply drag & drop but the fields
should be same which he rationed

6.Reports in OpenOffice
Base
The steps to make Report in Base are:

 Go to the `Report’ panel & click


on `Wizard to Create Report’.
 A dialog box appers.

 Selects the required fields,


choose layout & click on finish.
 The Reports of the following
tables are shown onwards.
