Topic 1:
Let’s start with the definition of volunteering. What’s volunteering? Volunteering is
a way of helping others. It is giving a person time and ability to help someone who
may need help. Helping your close friends or relatives isn’t volunteering, but doing
something to benefit the environment and other people is. For example, driving
your relative to a hospital appointment or tidying up the local park. There are many
activities that are considered volunteering such as raising funds, donating to
charities, campaigning, running or supporting events, providing advice,
information and guidance, etc.
Volunteering is doing very small things but the benefits it brings are immeasurable.
To begin with, volunteering offers countless opportunities for personal growth and
development. By engaging in selfless acts of service, individuals can expand their
skills. They can gain new skills or enhance existing ones through volunteer work.
Doing volunteer work can help them build confidence and self-esteem as they take
on responsibilities and witness the positive impact they have on others.
Additionally, volunteering is not only an opportunity for personal growth but also a
chance to form lasting social connections. Since individuals meet many people
from various backgrounds within the organisation, this can lead to valuable
friendships, mentorships, or even career opportunities. Through volunteer work,
they can develop important interpersonal skills such as empathy, communication or
teamwork. These skills are essential in building, forming and maintaining strong
relationships.
Last but not least, volunteering extends far beyond social connections and personal
development, it has a profound impact on society as a whole. Volunteering makes
individuals serve as role models, inspiring others to take action and make a
difference. Their dedication and compassion can encourage people to devote and
contribute their time or skills for the betterment of society.
In conclusion, volunteering has countless benefits for both volunteers and society.
The world is continuing to develop and grow day by day but there are still some in
difficulty in society. This is when people regardless of their social backgrounds
start by doing good things within their abilities to help others. Volunteering is not
doing something big or making such an impact, it’s about how we help people
from our hearts, but it can be a powerful force which can transform lives and make
changes in our communities. So start by doing small actions and continue to make
a much bigger contributions because such small actions can make such big
differences.
Topic 2:
Okay, so this is a very tricky topic to talk about because I’ve had the good fortune
to rub shoulders and eventually become friends with a lot of inspiring and talented
individuals – too many to count in fact – who have really original ideas and whose
incendiary talents never fails to galvanize me into becoming a better person after
talking to them. But if I have to choose a person who has a huge part to play in
molding me into the person that I’m today, it would be my mom. Today I will talk
about my mother who is the most influential and plays an essential role in my life.
She is my guardian, my friend, and my role model.
My mom is in her forties now, but she still maintains a youthful look. In terms of
personality, she is an extremely kind-hearted and compassionate person who
always takes care of her children. She is a friend to me as she always gives me
valuable advice and willing to stand by me through all the ups and downs in my
life. I am also influenced by her strong will. Ever since she was young, she had to
learn to become independent as my grandparents were busy and constantly on the
go. So, my mom had to take care of everything back then: her younger brother, the
household chores and even herself. Such challenges have shaped her into the
person she is today. Her determination, as well as her perseverance are something
for me to look up. And I keep reminding myself to always be strong like my
mother, a real life “wonder-woman”. My mom is also a great goal-setter, she has
inspired me to set high goals for myself and work hard to reach them.
My mom has been influential to my life in several ways. She taught me to work
hard and do my best while reminding myself to have fun. She advised me to be
positive in difficult circumstances. When she faced tough times, she chose to focus
on the good things and not get weighed down by the bad. My mom taught me
values to live by, she always encourages and supports me to pursue my dreams
while trying to be the best that I can be. She also provided me with a broader
diversity of social experiences and wider variety of methods of dealing with life.
Moreover, my mother also teaches me how to devote myself when I encounter
challenges, never back down or give up, keep trying until I get what I want and be
able to stand up for what I believe in.
My mom has been my biggest support and has always been there for me no matter
what. She sacrificed everything for me and my brother so that we can have a good
environment to strive in. I could go on and on about how my mother means to me
and how she influenced my life. But I will end this presentation with my message:
I love you mom and I want to give my thanks to all of the women out there in the
world for being such great moms and inspiring women.
Topic 3:
Of all the subject I study in school, I think that English is the most important
subject. It is through the English language that we have access to resources of
knowledge in the world.
English is a language that is spoken and understood by many people in most
country in the world. Knowledge of discoveries and inventions from one country is
transmitted to the other through English for the benefit of the world. In this way,
English helps to spread knowledge and progress. The original writing of many
great scientists, philosophers, psychologists, and others who did not speak or write
the English langauge have all been translated into English. Therefore, one who
have a good knowledge of English can have access to all the sources of
information.
Like I’ve already pointed out, English is the basic framework of every subject. We
rely on it to take tests, do homework, do research projects, and communicate with
peers and teachers, etc. Morever, there are plenty of career choices out there.
Whether you set out to become a lawyer, an engineer, a doctor, a scientist, a
musician, or a business person, it doensn’t matter. You will be required to use your
English language skills to come up with product specifications, put together
important contracts, write documentation or books, talk to clients through video
calls or emails, write lyrics that convey important messages, or perhaps pass on
your knowledge to others. All these professions require you to have a good
command of English, even if they seem too far removed from the actual language
itself.
To the best of my knowledge, more than 50% of the content we find online is
written in English. Now, The majority of the web contents is written using a
relatively simple or using an international language like English so that it doesn’t
alienate the readers. Morever, imagine doing a research project, the student who
has a good command of English will be more helpful since he/she can have access
and understand English references and documents online which provide more
dimensional and perspectives to that research project. Since we all know that in
order for a project to be persuasive, it needs to have various views from different
people, so it is not only our people’s views but also from other experts and
professionals from other countries’s views. Therefore, this puts the student without
a good knowledge of English at a disadvantage as he/she can only provide limited
ideas and references. Furthermore, English encourages learners to develop the
skills of listening, speaking, writing and reading. These skills are really necessary
in the workplace in the future of an individual. As we all know, there is an
emergence of international companies and they have become really popular and a
lot of eployees there receive a higher income than others. And since English is one
of the top priority requirements there, we can see that it is indeed essential.
English is without a doubt the most important subject of them all. Even if your
field of work or study is something else completely, English is everywhere in every
aspect of your academic and career paths, you will encounter and get exposed to it
otherwise, sooner or later. That’s why I considered English as the most important
subject at school.
Topic 4:
Nowadays, many young people strive to be independent. That means you’re able to
take care of yourself and you don’t have to rely on anyone else. However, to live
independently, the young needs a number of life skills in order not to depend on
their family or others. One of the most important skills is time management. Time
management skill is the most fundamental skills which holds significant
implications for personal and professional developments of young adults. In the
journey towards independence, the ability to allocate and prioritize time becomes
paramount. Today I will present to you all the multifaceted benefits of time
mangament in empowering young individuals to embrace independence.
To begin with, effective time management skill lays the groundwork for academic
success by enabling the youth to dedicate focused periods to their studies. By
managing our study schedules, we can enhance our learning outcomes, reduce
stress, and take ownership of our educational journey.
With good time management skills, they will not feel stressed when the exam dates
are approaching. The ability to meet deadlines, manage projects, allocate time
positions us for career success and financial independence. Morever, time
management also instills a sense of responsibility and accountability in the
workplace, elevating their confidence and competence in various professional
fields.
In the journey towards independence, we often find ourselves juggling multiple
resonsibilies such as academics, friends, family, household chores, personal
pursuits, etc. By mastering time management skill, young individuals can gain the
ability to balance these diverse commitments, fostering a harmonious integration of
personal and professional responsibilities.
Time management plays a pivotal role in cultivation self-discipline, a quality that
is foundation to independence. Through time management, young individuals can
learn to prioritize tasks, remain focused and persevered through challenges.
Moreover, they can overcome procrastination, thereby embracing a proactive
mindset and taking charge of their lives with purpose and determination.
In conclusion, time management skill plays an important role in empowering
young individuals to embrace independence. The multifaceted benefits of time
management position it as a cornerstone for their journey toward autonomy. By
equipping young people with this essential skill, they are prepared for the
challenges of adulthood and curve their paths toward a fulfilling and self-reliant
life.
Topic 5:
The music industry is in the business of entertaining the population for money. It is
a business that requires creativity. There are a lot of factors to consider when
considering which celebrity to support and promote in the industry.
There are many people in the world who can sing well. You could get lucky and be
the voice of other’s music, but there are a lot of people out there who can do that. If
you’re planning to be the face only, then you’d better have a really attractive face.
Not beautiful and lucky? In order to succeed, you have to be exceptionally well-
rounded, including:
Music skill – songwriting, playing multiple instruments, being a well-trained
performer and vocalist, etc.
Business skill- be able to connect well with people, socialise, understand business
contracts and the music industry.
Persnal skill – be charismatic and bright, be tough and how to deal with
disappointment, I imagine it takes up a lot of courage to be strong enough to make
it into the industry.
I believe that they care less now about specific attractiveness, but there is still a
factor of appeal overall. There are many who have made it through vocal auditions,
youtube, being scouted, sending in demos, etc. You don’t have to be the best
looking if you are well-rounded or multitalented, but be prepared for a hard and
tough road ahead if you make it into the industry.
It’s true that the music industry places a high emphasis on image and appearance,
and this could sometimes be prioritized over talents. However, it is also important
to note that there are many musicians and singers out there who have achieved
fame and success based on their musical talent and vocal ability, regradless of their
appearance like Doja Cat, Sia, Adele, Justin Timberlake, etc.
People in the industry can probably tell stories and give more accurate experiences,
but it’s obvious that talent is more of a prerequisite these days as there are more
avenues to get in and expose to. Although the music industry does care about looks
more talent but I believe that talent can go a much longer way than looks, and the
industry itself is starting to realize the importance of talent and there have been
some changes lately that talent is considered more vital than other factors. I think,
in the past, how good you look counted more than your actual talent in the short
run but in the long run, people would recognize your talent and not the look. The
most important asset is about having originality, talents, skills, and being lucky.
The truth to all of this is being lucky, being at the right place and the right time as
well as some efforts are the way for people to make it.
Topic 6:
During the first decade of the 21st century, a new and popular word as come into
our vocablary. That word is Facebook. Facebook is the most popular social
networking website on the Internet. The main idea of Facebook is that people can
keep in touch with other people from all around the world who have Facebook. We
can send messages or put up a status saying something like “Going to the mall,
need a new pair of shoes” or “It’s finally the weekend 😊)
The highest age groups who use Facebook are teenagers. Facebook is just changing
a new generation of youngsters completely because teenage life is one of the most
important stages of life and wasting it on Fcaebook is not encouraging this in any
way. Facebook is the distraction to their mind; people just diverted to Fcaebook
just to checck if there is something updated among their friends.
Remember back in the old day when teens would do their homework handwritten,
play sports, and hang out with their friends. These days they would just speak to
their friends on the Internet. In summary, teens don’t have a life because they are
on Facebook 24/7, except for those who don’t have Facebook or occasionally do.
In fact, it’s not just teens that become addicted to Facebook even grownups do.
I think that people should take a break from Facebook once in a while. It would
help them relize what life is like without saying what’s on their mind to everyone
on the Internet. Taking a break from Facebook would make them become more
active, like socialising in person. This would help them focus better in school or at
work.
Conversely, Facebook does benefit common people. For example, if you’re a
student working on an essay and you need advice or help because you’re stuck,
you can go online and send messages to your friends who might help or go onto
forums to ask questions and receive the answers from other people. Another way
it’s a good service and it’s useful is that it is completely free to contact any of your
friends in the world; this is much better than calling someone as it might be
expensive to some people.
Despite all of this, I firmly stick to my view that social network like Facebook is a
big-time waster. Teenagers especially, should spend less time on Facebook and
spend that time doing something that is healthy. My opinion is not bannig
Facebook completely since I also think that we should log in sometimes and I
suggest that we should spend 45 minutes per day on this social media website. If
we use Facebook wisely, who knows? It may benefit us more than harm.
Topic 7:
The young should be encouraged to do sports because participating in sports has
countless benefits for young people as through sports they can gain and learn new
skills and lessons which they can carry into their teen and adulthood. Sports helps
in improving the physical, mental and social well-being. And the young should be
encouraged to take up any kinds of sports that is most suited to them in terms of
their interest level.
The first benefit is that by engaging in physical activities, they can stay healthy and
boost their body strength. They will have a healthier, fitter body as well as a
healthy lifestyle. This help them lead a happy and disease-free life.
Participating in physical activities can help in the overall development of not only
their body but also their mind. The second benefit is that participating in sports can
have a direct influence in the acacdemic performance of young people. For the
overall development, both the body and mind should work efficiently together, and
this can only be done by encouring the young to take up both academics and
sports.
Additionally, by involving them in sports, people can improve their self-
confidence. Self-confidence plays a crucial role in attaining success in any walk of
life. It also makes them aware of their potential. With the correct mindset ad self-
confidence, one can achieve anything in life.
Moreover, leadership and teamwork skills go hand in hand together with sports.
They are equally important in achieving any height of success. By involving
people in sports, they can learn to communicate and work effectively with other
players. It also helps them focus on their individuals and team performances.
Last but not least, through sports, young people can learn to attain lifelong healthy
habits. Sports motivate them to adopt an active lifestyle which they can carry
forward to their adulthood. Sports teaches discipline to them and make them
realize how having healthy habits can take away all the health issues.
Encouraging young people to participate in sports is highly crucial as adapting to
sports culture can help them grow into a physically and emotionally balanced
person. Involving them in sports from an early age is a sgnificant step toward
making them become responsible beings.
Topic 8:
Let’s start with the definition of friendship. What is friendship? Friendship means a
bond between people which helps them connect and share each other’s feelings or
thoughts. Many people would define friendship as sharing happiness and sadness
while others might define it as spending time together and having fun. Ultimately,
the definition of friendship is a personal one and can mean different things to
different people.
So why do we need friends? We need friends in our life because friendship teaches
us a great deal about life. We learnt so many lessons from friends which we won’t
find anywhere else. We learn to love someone other than your family, we learn to
be ourselves in front of friends.
Friends never leaves us in bad times. You learn to understand people and trust
others. Your real friends always be there to cheer for us and motivate us. They will
take you on the right path and save you from the evil. They always share joy and
sadness whenever you feel happy or sad.
Similarly, friendship teaches us about loyalty. you learn to become loyal and get
loyalty in return. There is no greater feeling in the world than having a friend that
is loyal to you.
Moreover, friendship makes us stronger and friends always give us support. It tests
us and helps us grow. For example, we can see how we fight with our friends yet
come back after setting aside all of our differences. This is what makes us strong
and teaches us patience.
Therefore, there is no doubt that best friends help us in our difficulties and bad
times in life. They always save us from dangers as well as offer timeless advice
that family and friends may not give to you. Friendship is like the best asset of our
life because they share our sorrow, soothe our pain, and make us feel happy.
We meet many along the way but some only stay with you forever. Hose are your
real friends who always stay by your side through thick and thin. Friendship is like
the best gift one can have. It stays with a person forever. That’s why we need
friends in our life.
Topic 9:
What is a modern woman? A modern woman is someone who is independent in
finace and family, she doesn’t need anyone to rely on. A modern woman is
confident in herself in all sorts of way, and has excellent education. There are many
qualities in creating modern women that young girls and school girls should learn
and be prepared for the future.
To prepare young girls to become modern women in the future, it is essential to
focus on a diverse set of qualities that will empower them to navigate through all
the challenges and opportunities of the world.
First is good education. Every children has the right to learn and get good quality
education regardless of their gender, where they live, or their circumstances.
Emphasize on critical thinking, and problem - solving skills, as these skills will
form a solid foundation for their future endeavors. Because educated girls can
make informed choices from a far better range of options, they can save lives and
build strong communities, families and economies. With education, girls will
understand their rights, have a greater sense of what is needed to support health
and well-being, and they wi
Topic 10:
Every member in a family needs to have responsibilities and have to be responsible
for their actions and duties. An individual with highly developed sense of personal
responsibility will be more likely to succeed in school, in the workplace and
society at large. So, it is very vital to have responsibilities in the family.
I think my responsibilities in my family is to study hard, become a good citizen,
and make my parents feel proud. We are still young and we don’t have to do
something that is too impactful since our duty is to study well and pass exams with
flying colours so we have to complete it responsibly. Becoming a good citizen is
something that all citizens must do no matter which gender and age you are.
Moreover, since parents are the ones who teaches us and care for us in every aspect
in life so making them feel proud is such an undeniable responsibility.
Being responsible, respecting grandparents’ and parents rule as well as showing
appreciation to them for their efforts in taking care of me are also my
responsibilities in the family. Being a good child and respect the rules are what
every child should do. We have to behave well towards our parents and
grandparents, show them respect and appreciate what they have done for us.
As a student, doing small chores and tasks to help my parents with the housework
is also a responsibility that I should take. Helping with the housework helps my
parents have more free time to spend with us. Doing chores and tasks does not only
help parents but also benefits us, like developing important life skills that we will
need when we start our own families.
From my perspective, helping with the chores and tasks are our responsibilities but
it’s essential to share them with other members in your family. Sharing
responsibilities provides us with many benefits. Responsibility sharing puts us
ahead and gives us a chance to fix what’s not working without falling behind.
Sharing responsibilities also helps us take responsibility and show gratitude to our
parents for the things they do around the house for us. Responsibility sharing helps
strengthen family bonds and create special moments between parents, grandparents
and us because when we help out, chores get done sooner, parents have less to do
so this helps frees up the time for family to do fun things together.
As a student, I believe that my duty and responsibilities in the family are still small
but I believe that these experiences will be the foundation for me to achieve greater
things in the future. When I get older, my responsibilities will be different and will
be bigger, I would have a much bigger impact on my family and society like what
my parents have done for me physically, mentally, and financially.
Topic 11:
Before we begin, I just wanna ask a question: “Are you guys okay with our
lifestyle now?”. You can choose to raise your hands or not. Well, I think we all
need something to make our life better – a green lifestyle.
To begin with, I would like to say a few words about the definition of having a
green lifestyle. Green living is living in a close proximity to nature, living with a
sense of protecting our living environment. To minimize the negative effects, what
should we do to live green?
There are many things we can do to adopt a green lifestyle. Firstly, recycling is a
way for us to live green. Recycling helps prevent pollution and reduce the amount
of trash released each year. To make this action possible, start by putting labels on
the trash cans to categorize organic and inorganic products. Secondly, instead of
using cars, cycling or walking are also great ways to adopt a green lifestyle.
Cycling and walking don’t emit gases like cars or motorbikes do which is bad for
the air in particular and the environment in general. Thirdly, cutting down on
plastic use. Plastic takes years to break down into small pieces. So next time when
going shopping, use reusable or cloth bags instead of using plastic bags.
Green lifestyle or living green has been so important that we can see the positive
impacts it has on people who adopt this lifestyle. The most obvious benefit is that it
helps reduce environmental problems. Moreover, it also brings us economic
benefits. This helps us save money on electric bills. Green living also offers health
benefit. It reduces pollutants which make the air we breathe cleaner and healthier.
This means fewer diseases happen.
There are also many green events organized anually and monthy like cleaning the
beaches, tidying up and cleaning the streets after storms or floods, recycling event,
educational event to educate students on green living, etc. I think these events are
meaning and useful because these will help to raise awareness for students and to
make them realize their actions can make a difference.
The Earth is depleting and is depleting fast. The harmful effects of this depletion
keep increasing daily. Living green should not be an option. It is something that we
must do. So green living and green lifestyle should be adopted and supported by
many people.
Topic 12:
I think the invention, in my opinion, has been making our lives easier and simpler,
and above all, one of the inventions that impresses me the most is the Internet. The
Internet was invented by Vinton Cerf, a renowned computer scientist.
Why the Internet impresses me the most you ask? It is because of the benefits that
it brings to us even in the past and at present are undeniably vital. Without a doubt,
the Internet is extremely useful in our lives, it helps connects people from all
around the world, which makes it the most powerful media of communication. In
the past, it would take weeks or even months to receive someone else’s letter. But
now with the internet connectivity, we can make calls, message, and even video
calls immediately. As a result of this, people can work and communicate with other
people from other parts of the world which provides many with the ability to work
online or have a virtual office.
The internet has an enormous amount of knowledge which makes it become easier
for people to rummage through the internet to look up necessary information. We
an use search engine like Google to ask any questions and find the website that has
the answers and information we need. Therefore, the internet is a great platform for
students to learn new things and obtain degrees through online courses.
Last but not least, the internet provides us with access to endless entertainment.
With this invention, we can watch films, video, play online games or perhaps listen
to music. There are many sites available on the Internet, which contain different
entertainment materials like videos, music and more. For example, we can watch
million of videos on a platform like Youtube without paying any costs.
With the reasons above, from my point of view, the internet is such a wonderful
and is one of the greates inventions of all time. And because of the benefits it
brings as well as how this inevention means and the role it plays in our lives are
what impress me the most.
Let’s start with the definition of volunteering. What is volunteering? Volunteering
is a way of helping others. It is giving a person time and ability to help someone
who may need help. Helping your close friends or relatives isn't volunteering. But
doing something to benefit the environment and other people is. It can be formal
and organised by organisations or it can also be informal and not organised through
an organisation. For example, driving a neighbor to a hospital appointment or
tidying your local park. There are many things we can do that are considered
volunteering such as raising funds, supporting or running events, campaigning,
giving advice, guidance or information, donating for charities, etc.
Volunteering is doing very small things, but the benefits it brings are
immeasurable. To begin with, volunteering offers countless opportunities for
personal growth and development. By engaging in selfless acts of service,
volunteers can expand their skills. Volunteers often gain new skills or enhance
existing ones through volunteer work. Volunteering can help them build confidence
and self-esteem as they take on responsibilities and witness the positive impact
they have on others.
Additionally, volunteering is not only an opportunity for personal growth but also a
chance to form lasting social connections. Since volunteers interact with
individuals from various backgrounds within the organization, they can lead to
valuable friendships, mentorships, and even career opportunities. Through
volunteering, individuals develop important interpersonal skills such as empathy,
teamwork, and communication. These skills are essential in building and
maintaining strong relationships.
Last but not least, volunteering extends far beyond personal growth and social
connections; it has a profound impact on society as a whole. Volunteering makes
individuals serve as role models, inspiring others to take action and make a
difference. Their dedication and compassion can encourage more people to
contribute their time and skills for the betterment of society. Volunteers often work
with organizations that advocate for social justice, equality, and sustainable
development. By actively participating in these initiatives, volunteers contribute to
the creation of a more inclusive and fair society.
In conclusion, volunteering offers numerous benefits to both the volunteers and
society at large. The world is continuing to grow and develop day by day but there
are still many in difficulty in society. This is when people despite their
backgrounds start by doing good things within their abilities and statuses in social
life. Volunteering doesn't mean doing something big or making such an impact, it
is about how we help people from our hearts, but it can be a powerful force that
has the potential to transform lives and create positive changes in our communities.
So start by doing small actions and continue to make a much bigger contribution
because such small actions can make such big differences.

QUESTIONS:
1. Yes, I have taken part in volunteering activities. I think those activities are
mostly organized by our school and the Youth Union such as volunteering to help
people install and fill in the information segment in the Vneid app, volunteering to
clean the streets after floods or storms, etc.
2. I think all volunteer work is very valuable, no matter which kind it is. But if I
have to pick my favorite ones, I really would like to take part in helping the hungry
and small children. I would like to help the hunger because researchers have shown
that food is the main source of survival. Distribution of food is very important in
poor countries. It is indeed very sad to see how people are dying because they
cannot obtain food. And for children, I think that children are the future of the
world, they help to shape and define the future so helping them learn is a part of
the contribution in helping the future world.
3. From my point of view, the most important benefit is that volunteering helps
with personal growth and development. The thing that will follow us through our
academic and career paths is our skills. Volunteering in various roles gives you
more opportunities to learn new skills you might never have been exposed to
otherwise. Some of those skills may even become hobbies, passions, or careers!
Depending on the type of volunteering you do, the skills you acquire may be
physical, social, mental, or even emotional. Ultimately, volunteering can expose
you to new experiences and skill sets you can build on throughout your life.
Whether developing leadership skills by organizing events, improving
communication skills by working with diverse groups of people, or learning
technical skills by assisting in a project, volunteering offers a unique opportunity to
acquire knowledge and expertise while positively impacting the world.

Okay, so this is a tricky topic to talk about because I’ve had the good fortune to rub
shoulders and eventually become close friends with a lot of inspiring and talented
individuals- too many to count in fact- who have very original perspectives and
whose incendiary talents never fail to galvanize me into becoming a better person
immediately after talking with them. But if I have to choose the one who have a
huge part to play in molding me into the person that I am today, it would be my
mom. So I am going to talk about my mother who is the most influential person in
my life and has played an essential role in my life. She is my guardian, my friend,
and my role model.

My mother is in her forties now, but she still maintains a youthful look. In terms of
personality, she is an extremely compassionate and kind-hearted person who
always takes care of her children. She is a mother and a friend to me as she always
gives me valuable advice and is willing to stand by me through all the ups and
downs of my life. I am also influenced by her strong will. Ever since she was
young, she had to learn to be independent as my grandparents were very busy and
constantly on the go. She had to take care of almost everything: her younger
brother, household chores, and herself. Such challenges shaped her into the strong
person that she is now. Her determination, as well as her perseverance, are
something for us to look up to. And I keep reminding myself every day to be as
strong as my mother, a real-life “wonder woman.” She is consistently positive and
determined to help everyone around her. She is a great goal-setter and has inspired
me to set high goals for myself and work hard to reach them.
My mom has been incredibly influential in my life in several ways. She has taught
me to work hard and do my best but also reminds me to always have fun. She has
taught me to be positive in difficult circumstances. When she has faced tough
times, my mom chooses to focus on the good things and not get weighed down by
the bad. She always says, "Life throws you punches, roll with it." No matter what
she is dealing with, she always manages to laugh and always laughs hardest at her
jokes. She has taught me values to live by, she has supported me and encouraged
me to pursue my dreams while challenging myself to be the best that I can be. I
would not be the person I am today without her love and guidance. My mom also
encouraged me to risk-taking and to have a sense of humor. She provided me with
a broader diversity of social experience and introduced me to a wider variety of
methods of dealing with life.

The most very important lesson that I will never forget is what doesn’t kill you,
simply makes you stronger. My mom teaches me how to devote myself when I
encounter challenges, never back down and give up, and keep trying until I get
what I want/success, be able to stand up for what I believe in, and be self, I have to
treat others with respect first. My mom enriched my life with their passion for
helping others. I have seen a hope and life that is truly exceptional because of their
example, today I am a strong and ambitious person with good communication with
those around me and look forward to helping those in need. Her influence affects
the way I live.

My mom has been my biggest support for everything and has been there for me no
matter what. She sacrifices everything for my brothers and me to help us be the
best we can be. I could go on and on about how much my mom means to me and
how she influenced my life, but I will end this presentation with a lovely saying: I
love you Mom and I want to give my thanks to all of the women in the world for
being such great moms and inspired women.

QUESTIONS:

1. Yes, I always ask my mom for advice when I make an important decision. I
believe that my mom is the wisest person I’ve ever known and the decisions
that I have made from early on till now are all my mother’s advice I took
and I didn’t regret those decisions one bit. Truth is, the reason our society
does not get better and better with fewer and fewer problems is that young
people do not listen to the old people. If you wonder if what you are thinking
of doing is wise, ask a wise person. A person who has already run off in the
ditch and could tell you how to avoid the upcoming wreck. Hence, I always
ask my mom for advice because I know that she will provide me with useful
advice and advise me sincerely.
2. To show my love to her, I would always listen to her and apply the lessons
I’ve learned from her to the situations and problems I face. My love
language has always been quality time so to express my love, I always try to
make time for myself and my mom so that we can enjoy the free time doing
the things we love and spend quality time together.

Of all the subjects that I study in school, I think that English is the most important
subject. It is mainly through the English language that we gain access to various
sources of knowledge.

English is a language that is spoken and understood by many people in most

countries of the world. It is, in fact, the most important means of communication
among the various countries of the world. Knowledge of discoveries and
inventions in one country is transmitted to other countries through English for the
benefit of the world. In this way, English helps to spread knowledge and progress.
The original writings of great scientists, philosophers, psychologists, and others
who did not speak and write the English language have all been translated into
English. Therefore, one who has a good knowledge of English has access to all the
sources of information.

As we have already pointed out, English is the basic framework for every other
subject out there. You will rely on it to do homework, take tests, communicate with
teachers and peers, and so on. Moreover, there are plenty of career choices out
there. Whether you set out to become an engineer, doctor, writer, musician, lawyer,
or business person, it doesn’t matter. You will be required to use your English
skills to come up with product specifications, write books and documentation, put
together important contracts, communicate with your clients through live chat and
email, write lyrics that will convey an important message, and perhaps even pass
on your knowledge to others. All those professions require you to have a good
command of English, even if they seem so far removed from the actual language.

More than 50% of the content you will find online is written in English. Now,
while the majority of web content is written using relatively simple language so
that it doesn’t alienate the readers, and because it needs to grab their attention, you
may have noticed that it is incredibly precise. This means you will rarely come
across glaring grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. We are, of course,
talking about the content produced by reputable and reliable resources, not random
comments generated by users. This applies to content created by bloggers, writers,
journalists, content marketing experts, and just about any homework website out
there.

English is without a doubt the most important subject of them all. Even if your
field of study is something else entirely, you still need to be able to communicate
effectively. If you can do that, you will find success in anything that you do.

QUESTIONS:

1. My favorite subject is English, as you know since I am standing here

presenting and showing my passion for this subject in particular and the
English language in general.

2. In my opinion, as I’ve mentioned in my presentation, I believe that English

is the most important subject. I consider myself a person who is continuing
to learn and develop this language every single day and I haven’t achieved
anything so glorious before so I might not be the one suitable for giving
advice or effective ways to learn this subject. But if I have to choose one of
the most effective methods to learn this subject that I’ve learned from other
people who have a big impact on the language industry must be practice. If
you finish studying any new knowledge or simply just new words, write it
down and put it in a sentence that you can use and practice afterward.
Because I believe that " A dull pencil is better than the sharpest mind" just
practice, practice, and practice.

3. I believe that anything can have its good side and downside. But in this case,
I completely agree with the term you have mentioned. No matter how good a
teacher you have, whether you study well or not depends on you. This has
happened in many cases, parents just think that their children's bad grades
are just bad quality teaching or it is just the teachers' fault. Their children
don't even pay any attention or focus on their studies. So that's why self-
study is more important when you think about it, self-study allows you to
keep up with your suitable pace and you can explore and learn knowledge in
your way without feeling uncomfortable that you’ve been put on the spot.
Internet and books sometimes are great resources in helping you self-study.
At the end of the day, your score comes from your effort and determination,
hence, I believe that self-study through books and the Internet without
teachers is successful.

Many young people strive to be independent. That means you are able to
take care of yourself, and you don’t have to rely on anyone else. However, to
live independently, you need a number of life skills in order not to depend
on your family and others. One of the most important skills is time
management. Time management is a fundamental skill that holds significant
implications for the personal and professional development of young adults.
In the journey toward independence, the ability to efficiently allocate and
prioritize time becomes paramount. Today I will present to you all the
multifaceted benefits of time management in empowering young individuals
to embrace independence.

Effective time management lays the groundwork for academic success by

enabling the youth to dedicate focused periods to their studies. By efficiently
managing their study schedules, we can enhance learning outcomes, reduce
stress, and take ownership of their educational journey.

With good time management skills, we will not feel stressed when exam
dates are approaching. The ability to meet deadlines, manage projects, and
allocate time positions us for career success and financial independence.
Moreover, effective time management instills a sense of responsibility and
accountability in the workplace, elevating their confidence and competence
in various professional fields.
In our journey toward independence, we often find themselves juggling
multiple responsibilities, such as academics, part-time jobs, household
chores, family, friends, and personal pursuits. By mastering time
management, we gain the ability to balance these diverse commitments,
fostering a harmonious integration of personal and professional
responsibilities.

Time management plays a pivotal role in cultivating self-discipline, a quality

that is foundational to independence. Through effective time management,
young individuals learn to prioritize tasks, remain focused, and persevere
through challenges. Moreover, they can overcome procrastination, thereby
embracing a proactive mindset and taking charge of their lives with purpose
and determination.

In conclusion, time management skills plays a pivotal role in empowering

young adults to embrace independence. The multifaceted benefits of time
management position it as a cornerstone of their journey toward autonomy.
By equipping young individuals with this essential skill, we are prepared for
the challenges of adulthood and carve our paths toward a fulfilling and self-
reliant future.

QUESTIONS:

1. Yes, I think that time management skill is one of the most important life
skills for the young to develop because it helps spanning academic
success, professional growth, self-discipline, and personal exploration.
2. To develop this skill, I believe that we should make plans for things we
need to do, including appointments and deadlines. Using a diary or apps
on mobile devices will remind us of what we need to accomplish and
when we need to accomplish it. Next is to prioritize our activities. We
need to decide which tasks are the most urgent and important and then,
concentrate on these first. This way, we may not be at a loss to deal with
too much work at the same time. Last is to develop routines because
routines, when established, take less time for us to do our tasks.
3. I’ve known and owned lots of the skills like time management skills,
public speaking skills like we are doing right now, leadership skills,
teamwork skills and critical thinking skills.
The music industry is in the business of entertaining the population for money. It’s
a business that requires creativity, but it’s also about logic and math. There are
many factors are considered when determining which artists to promote and
support in the music industry.

There are a lot of people in the world who can sing very well. You could get lucky
and just be the voice for others’ music, but there are a lot of people out there who
can do that. If you’re planning on being the face only, you’d better have a really
attractive face. Not beautiful and lucky? In order to succeed, you need to be
exceptionally well-rounded, including:

Musical skills - songwriting, playing multiple instruments, being a well-trained

vocalist and performer, music theory and blending, understanding music
production.

Business skills - you need to be able to connect well with people, socialize, and
understand the music business, and understand economics and business contracts.

Personal skills - you need to be charismatic and bright, know how to socialize and
mix with people, and be tough and know how to deal with disappointment, I
imagine it takes a lot to be strong enough to make it in a very competitive industry.

I would say they care less now about specific attractiveness, but there is still a
factor of appeal overall. There are people who have made it from vocal
competitions, YouTube, and sending in demos, being scouted, etc. You don’t have
to be the best looking if you are well rounded and multi-talented, but be prepared
for a long, hard road, if you want to break into the industry.

It is certainly true that the music industry places a high emphasis on image and
appearance, and that this can sometimes be prioritized over vocal ability. However,
it is also important to note that there are many successful musicians who have
achieved fame and success based on their vocal ability and musical talent,
regardless of their appearance like Adele, Sia, Doja Cat, etc.

Those in the industry can probably tell stories and give accurate experiences, but
it’s obvious that talent is more of a prerequisite these days now that there are so
many avenues to get in and exposure. Although that the music industry does care
more about looks than talents but I believe that talent can goes a much longer way
than looks and the industry itself is starting to realize the important of talent and
there has been changes lately that talent is considered more vital than other factors.
I think in the past, how good you look counted more than your actual talent in the
short run, but in the long run, people would recognize the talent, and not the looks.
I think the most important asset is about having originality, talent and not the look.
Overall, success in the music industry to me requires having good songwriting
skills and being lucky. The truth to all of this is that being lucky, and being in the
right place at the right time as well as some effort will be the way for someone to
make it.

QUESTIONS:
1. My favourite singers are actually really physically attractive.
2. Yes, I would prefer to participate in a music band. I wished I could have
enough ability to become a member of a music band as K-pop bands for
example. If I joined a band, our debut album would be about youth which
inspires teenagers in life. We would have the first music performance in a
stadium to capture a huge number of audiences and also attract adoring fans.
But you know, I told you that I am tone deaf, so my intentions will never
come true.
3. Singing is only one aspect of music. It is in the spotlight because singers are
literally in the spotlight. They get the most attention because more attention
is thrown their way. But singing isn’t the only valuable skill in music. If you
can’t sing, you can get into the music industry by good at playing musical
intrusment or becoming a music producer, writer, composer if you have an
aptitude of writing and composing music. The music industry supports
hundreds of thousands of jobs, and only a few go to the singers.
During the first decade of the 21st century, a popular and new word has come into
our vocabulary. That word is Facebook. This is the most popular social networking
website on the internet. The main idea of Facebook is that you can keep in touch
with all your friends around the world who have Facebook. You can send
messages to your friends, put up a status saying something like “Going to the mall,
need to get a new pair of shoes” or “It’s finally the weekend! :)”.

The highest age groups who use Facebook are teenagers. Facebook is just
changing the new generation of youngsters completely because teenage life is one
of the most important stages of life and wasting it on Facebook is not encouraging
this in any way. It is also a complete distraction to their mind; they would get
diverted to Facebook just to check if there was anything updated among their
friends.

Remember back in the good old days, when teens would do their homework
handwritten, play sports, and hang out with friends? Today, most teens only speak
to their friends on Facebook. In summary, teens don’t have a life because they are
on Facebook 24/7, except for those who don’t use Facebook or occasionally do.
It’s not just teens who become addicted even grownups do.
I think people should also take a break from Facebook once in a while. This would
make them think about what life is like without saying what’s on their mind to all
their friends on the internet. A break would also make them more active, like
socializing in person. This would also help them focus better in school or at work.

Conversely, the social network does benefit common people. For example, if you
are a student and you’re writing an essay on your computer and need advice
because you are stuck, you can just go online to Facebook and ask any of your
friends who would help. Another way it’s a good service is because it is
completely free to contact any of your friends who live anywhere in the world; this
is much better than calling someone on the phone which might be expensive to
some people.

Despite all this, I firmly stick to my view about social networks being a big-time
waster. Teenagers especially, should spend less time on Facebook and use that
time to do other healthy activities. My opinion is not banning Facebook completely
because I also agree you should log in sometimes and I recommend that should go
on for about 45 minutes a day if you do have Facebook.

QUESTIONS:

1. I think that what surprises you all the most is the fact that I don’t even have a
Facebook account, so I don’t consider myself a member of Facebook. But
sometimes, maybe once a week or once a month if I study for exams I do use
my mom’s Facebook. I mainly use my Facebook for study purposes like
looking for documents and study materials or news, trends, and headlines
that are popular nowadays.

2. I think that the difference between friends on Facebook and friends in reality
is that a friend, in reality, is someone you have a close relationship with and
trust. They may be someone you have known for a long time or someone
you have recently met. A Facebook friend is someone you have connected
with on the social media platform, Facebook. Moreover, you don’t know
them personally, and there is never any kind of concern. This connection
allows you to see each other's posts and communicate through the platform.
However, just because someone is your Facebook friend, it does not
necessarily mean they are a real-life friend.

3. Yes, I do think that Facebook has negative effects on young people like the
lack of sleep because media use can interfere with sleep because of its screen
light. Next is obesity because they tend to snack while using social media,
additionally it hurts school performance because young people often use
entertainment media at the same time that they're doing other things, such as
homework. Such multitasking can hurt how well they do in school, the worst
impact must be being the victims of cyberbullying. There are a lot more
negative effects but these are the most popular ones.

The young should be encouraged to take up sports because participating in sports

has countless benefits for young people as through sports they can learn several
skills and lessons which they can carry into teen and adulthood. Sports help in
improving the physical, mental, and social well-being. They should be encouraged
to take up any kind of sport that is most suited to them in terms of their interest
level.

The first benefit is that by engaging in physical activities, they can stay healthy and
boost their body strength. They will have a healthier, fitter body as well as a
healthy lifestyle. This can help them to lead a happy & disease-free life.

Engaging in physical activities can help in the overall development of not only
their body but also their mind. The second benefit is that participating in physical
activity can have a direct influence on the academic performance of the young. For
the overall development of the body both mind & body should work efficiently
which can only be done by encouraging them to take up both academics and sports.

Additionally, by involving them in sports, they can improve their self-confidence.

Self-confidence plays a crucial role in attaining success in any walk of life. It also
makes them aware of their potential and how with the correct mindset and self-
confidence one can achieve anything in life.
Moreover, teamwork and leadership qualities go hand in hand and in sports, both
of them are equally important to achieve the heights of success. By involving
young people in sports, they can learn how to communicate with other players. It
also helps them focus on their individual and team performances.

Last but not least, through sports, young people can learn to attain lifelong healthy
habits. Sports motivate them to adopt an active lifestyle which they can carry
forward to their adulthood. Sports teach discipline to them & make them realize
how having healthy habits can take away all the health issues.

Encouraging the young in sports is highly crucial as adapting to sports culture can
help them in growing into a physically & emotionally balanced person. Involving
them in sports from an early age is a significant step toward making them become
responsible beings.

QUESTIONS:

1. No, I am not doing any sports at present. But I am planning to take up

badminton since I learn badminton at school but I see it as not just a sport but also
something beneficial to my health.

2. I’ve played badminton since secondary school, for approximately 5 years. At

first, I considered it a hobby that I used to do with my brother. And it lengthens to
high school as a subject and a sport.

I think I have developed my consistency. Back then I was a short-tempered person

and I often get mad over something that is not necessary to be mad at. So I usually
being inconsistent about my work and my studies, I always feel unmotivated and
get bored easily so I often leave my work undone. Playing badminton has allowed
strengthen and improve my consistency because mastering badminton or just being
able to play it well requires a person’s regular and consistent training.

3. Yes, I do believe that there is violence in sports. But mainly those violence are
just accidents or injuries. But accidents are likely to happen in all sports. Such
popular sports like football, tennis, or swimming have records of accidents and
injuries. So violence is not as serious as we think it would be because there is also
medical support to help participants if they face injuries and unplanned accidents
while they are training or competing.

We can stop violence by having players, parents, and coaches sign a code of
sportsmanship so everyone involved in the sport is responsible for preventing
violence or we can use law officials. Police officers have the authority to stop
violence and maintain control of sporting events. The presence of law officials
prevents sports violence by reminding participants that there are consequences for
violence.

Let’s start with the definition of friendship. What is friendship? Friendship means a
bond between people that connects them and lets them share each other’s feelings
and thoughts. Some people might define friendship as sharing happiness and
sadness, while others might define it as simply spending time together and having
fun. Ultimately, the definition of friendship is a personal one and can mean
different things to different people.

So why do we need friends in our life? We need friends in our life because
friendship is important in life and it teaches us a great deal about life. We learn so
many lessons from friendship which we won’t find anywhere else. You learn to
love someone other than your family. You know how to be yourself in front of
friends.

Friendship never leaves us in bad times. You learn how to understand people and
trust others. Your real friends will always motivate you and cheer for you. They
will take you on the right path and save you from any evil. They always share joy
and sadness with you whenever you feel happy or sad.

Similarly, friendship also teaches you a lot about loyalty. It helps us to become
loyal and get loyalty in return. There is no greater feeling in the world than having
a friend who is loyal to you.

Moreover, friendship makes us stronger, friends always give you support. It tests
us and helps us grow. For instance, we see how we fight with our friends yet come
back together after setting aside our differences. This is what makes us strong and
teaches us patience.

Therefore, there is no doubt that best friends help us in our difficulties and bad
times in life. They always try to save us from our dangers as well as offer timely
advice that your family or others cannot give to you. True friends are like the best
assets of our lives because they share our sorrow, soothe our pain, and make us feel
happy.

You meet many along the way of life but only some stay with you forever. Those
are your real friends who stay by your side through thick and thin. Friendship is the
most beautiful gift you can present to anyone. It stays with a person forever. That’s
why we need friends in our life.

QUESTIONS:

1. Yes, I do have lots of friends since I participate in a lot of activities and

competitions in school so I do make plenty of friends but when it comes to the
friends that I trust and I spend my quality time with are just the two of my best
friends.

2. Things I would love to do with my best friends are going to the cinema to
watch a movie that we like, spending some quality time together, having
conversations and deep talks, and sharing some updates about each other. Going to
cafes and having boba together, I also want to have a sleepover so we can spend
more time with each other since we are going to be busy for the rest of the school
year so maybe having something that we can do together can help strengthen our
friendship again.

3. Yes, I do think there is a lifelong friendship. From my perspective, I believe

that for a friendship to be close and long-lasting, the people in that relationship
should have some special qualities like constancy because if a person in a
relationship is changeable and uncertain then that friendship is incapable of being
long-lasting. Next is loyalty and trust because a lifelong friendship should not have
suspicion between the people. They should not be influenced by rumours and they
must be able to keep each other’s secrets. Sympathy must be the last quality to
form a lifelong friendship – sympathy with each other’s aims, likes, joys, sorrows,
pursuits, and pleasures. Those important qualities will surely make a long-lasting
friendship.
What is a modern woman? A modern woman is someone independent in finance,
and family, she doesn’t need someone to depend on. A modern woman is confident
in herself in all sorts of ways and she has excellent education. There are lots of
qualities in creating a modern woman that schoolgirls and young girls should learn
and be prepared for the future.
To prepare schoolgirls to become modern women in the future, it is essential to
focus on developing a diverse set of qualities that will empower them to navigate
the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow's world.
First is good education. Every child has a right to learn and get a good quality
education, regardless of gender, where they live, or their circumstances. Emphasize
the importance of critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as these will form a
solid foundation for their future endeavors. Because educated girls can make
informed choices from a far better range of options, they can save lives and builds
stronger families, communities, and economies. With an education, girls will
understand their rights, have a greater sense of what is needed to support health
and well-being, and they will have greater opportunities to be employed in a
fulfilling way and achieve their full potential.
Apart from good education, to prepare girls to become modern women in the
future, they should also build more self-confidence. Because a modern woman is
someone who has a strong voice that can change the world and make a great
impact on others so confident girls are more likely to speak up for themselves.
Self-confidence plays a big part in leadership and executive presence. Women in
the future have more career opportunities and they are more likely to be promoted
because of the confidence they have. Greater confidence makes us more willing to
take smart risks and more able to move outside our comfort zone. Building
confidence is essential for girls to reach their full potential and do their best as they
will be the future modern women.
Finally, one of the most important qualities that schoolgirls should strive to have to
become a modern woman in the future is independence. In today's rapidly
changing world, the concept of independence for women has gained immense
significance. Today, women are breaking barriers, challenging expectations, and
crafting their paths toward independence. Modern women are financially
independence. It empowers women to make significant and small choices without
depending on anyone else's support. This financial freedom allows them to pursue
their dreams, invest in their passions, and secure their future.
By nurturing these qualities, schoolgirls will be better prepared to embrace the
future as confident, empowered, and adaptable modern women.
QUESTIONS:
1. No, modern women needn’t have enough “ Cong, Dung, Ngon, Hanh”. I
think that we are modern women living in a modern era. Those terms and
definitions of “ Cong, Dung, Ngon, Hanh” are such a traditional way to
define, compare, and evaluate a woman’s qualities. I believe that we don’t
need to have those 4 factors to become a successful and happy woman. We
can have one but not necessarily have to have the other three.
2. The woman that I admire the most is my mom. Despite her age, my mom
still maintains her youthful look. What I admire the most about my mom is
her useful advice, and our quality time together. She teaches me everything
to make me feel prepared when I step out of the world, and step out of my
norm. My mom is also a modern woman, she always wants to learn
something new, which reminds me of her saying that it’s never too late to
learn or try to do something, learning is a long journey, it can happen
anywhere, anytime, at any age. That’s what inspires me the most on my
journey of learning. She is confident in herself, she is independence both
financially and familial. And that’s why my mom is the person that I admire
the most.
3. Definitely yes, higher education is necessary for girls. Right now, 31 million
girls around the world don’t have access to primary education. And getting
higher education for girls is urgently important. Educating girls improves a
country’s social and economic well-being. Every individual can contribute to
a part of the country’s social and economic, regardless of their gender.
Educated women are more likely to invest in the next generation. Hence,
higher education for girls is extremely essential.
Every member of a family needs to have responsibilities and they have to be
responsible for their actions as well as their duties. An individual with a highly
developed sense of personal responsibility is more likely to succeed in school, in
the workplace, and society at large. So it is very vital to have responsibilities in our
family.
I think my responsibility in the family is to try to study hard, become a good
citizen, and make my parents feel proud. We are still young and we don’t have to
do something that is too impactful, since our basic duty is to study well so we need
to complete it responsibly. Becoming a good citizen is a responsibility that every
citizen should do no matter which gender or age we are. Our parents are the ones
that teach us and care for us in every aspect of life so making them proud is such
an undeniable responsibility.
Being responsible, respecting my parents' rules, and showing appreciation for my
family and their efforts in taking care of me are also my responsibilities in the
family. Being a good child and respecting the rules is what every child should do.
We should all behave well towards our parents, show them respect and appreciate
what they have done to us.
As a student, doing small chores and tasks to help my parents with the housework
is also a responsibility that we should take. Doing chores will help our parents have
more free time to spend with us. Moreover, doing chores not only helps our parents
but also has benefits for us, like developing important life skills we will need when
we start our own families.
From my perspective, although doing chores and tasks are our responsibilities it’s
also essential to share those responsibilities. Sharing responsibilities provides us
with many benefits. Responsibility sharing puts us ahead and gives us a chance to
fix what’s not working without falling behind. Sharing responsibilities also helps
us take responsibility and develop our gratitude to our parents cause we will learn
to appreciate all the hard work our parents do around the house for us. In addition,
responsibility sharing helps strengthen family bonds, creating special moments
between parents and us because when we help out, chores get done sooner, and
parents have less to do so this frees up time for the famil to do fun things together.
As a student, my roles and responsibilities in my family may be small but I believe
that someday those experiences will be a foundation that helps me achieve more
things in the future. When I get older, I believe that my responsibilities will be
different and will be bigger, have a much bigger impact like what my parents have
done for me physically, mentally, and financially.
QUESTIONS:
1. The chore, in my opinion, that I like the most must be sweeping the house. I
think that it is not bad, it isn’t time-consuming like other activities and I like
seeing the house clean after sweeping it.
Whereas, the chore I dislike doing the most is washing the dishes because I
think that it takes so much time to do the washing up. I usually end up
breaking things when I do the washing up in the past but now I am
improving with fewer dishes being broken. I think that we cannot perfect it
unless we try, right? That’s the same with doing housework. So despite
breaking things in the past, it was a valuable experience that helped me bit
by it improve it afterwards. That’s the result of me today, a girl with no
broken dishes.
2. I think that there are lots of benefits we can get from sharing household
chores. Sharing household chores helps us learn to take responsibility and be
competent. Additionally, chore sharing will make us feel more capable of
meeting obligations and completing tasks. Sharing housework helps us
develop life skills that we will need for the rest of our lives, particularly
when we start our own families like doing the laundry, cleaning the house,
and taking care of others.
Before we begin, let me just ask you a question “Are you ok with your lifestyle
now? You can choose by raising your hand or not. Well, I think we all need
something to make our life better, which is the green lifestyle. So, this led to my
topic “What students should do to adopt a green lifestyle?”
To begin with I’d like to say a few words about the definition of having a green
life. The life of each human includes all daily activities, from the time we started to
exist. Green living means living in close proximity to nature, living with a sense of
protecting our living environment. To minimize negative impacts on nature now
and in the future, what activities we can do to live green?
There are many ways and activities we can do to adopt a green lifestyle. Firstly,
recycling things is one of the ways to live green. Recycling can help prevent
pollution, and reduce the amount of trash released each year. To make this action
possible, start by putting labels on your trash cans at home to categorize organic
and inorganic products. Secondly, instead of using cars, cycling or walking is also
an effective way to adopt a green lifestyle. Cycling and walking help to reduce air
pollution because they don’t emit gases like cars or motorbikes, which are bad for
the air in particular and the environment in general. Thirdly, cutting down on
plastic use. Plastic waste takes many years for it to break down into small pieces.
So when you go shopping, use reusable or cloth bags instead of using plastic bags.
Living green has become so important that we can see the positive impacts that it
brings to people who have adopted this green lifestyle. The most obvious impact of
living green is that it helps reduce environmental pollution. This is done by
practicing the 3Rs which stand for recycling, reducing, and reusing. Living green
also brings economic benefits. It helps save money on household bills. When we
use recycled products, they are not only last long but are also more eco-friendly.
Going green also offers health benefits. It reduces air pollutants and makes the air
we breathe cleaner and healthier. This means fewer diseases happen.
There are many green events that are organized every month like cleaning the
beach, cleaning the streets after big storms or floods, recycling events, educating
youngsters to live green, etc. Our school also organizes lots of activities related to
green lifestyle to promote living green. I am going to attend some of the events
when they are celebrated.
The Earth is depleting and it is depleting fast. The harmful effects of this depletion
keep increasing daily. Living green should not be an option. It is something that we
must do. Living green should be supported and adopted by everyone.
QUESTIONS:
1. There are many ways to reuse or recycle old items around the house such as:
Donating items to thrift stores, charities, or community organizations. These
organizations may be able to put old items to good use, such as providing
clothing to those in need or selling used items to support their programs.
Repurposing items for new uses. For example, we can use old clothing as
rags for cleaning or repaint an old piece of furniture to give it a new look. By
reusing or recycling old items around the house, we can help to reduce waste
and protect the environment.

2. I attended a recycling fashion contest and recycling products that the school
organized or the donating cans, paper, etc that the school organized which
helped to promote a green lifestyle. Our class also repurposed plastic bottles
to plant small trees. I think that doing small things but still contributing to
the school’s goal in the environment has such an important impact.
Consistently doing and taking part in those activities that are organized by
our school and the Youth Union, will be a part of your contribution despite
doing so little actions.

I would like to talk about an invention, in my opinion, that has been making our
life easier and simpler, and above all, it is one of the inventions that impresses me
the most which is the Internet. The Internet was invented by Vinton Cerf, a
renowned computer scientist.
Why the Internet impresses me the most, you ask? The benefits that it brings to us
even in the past as well as at present are undeniably vital. Without a doubt, the
internet is extremely useful for life, it connects people from all around the world
free and fast, which makes it the most powerful medium of communication. In the
past, it would take days or even months to receive a letter from someone else, but
with internet connectivity, we can send messages, make calls, and even video calls
immediately. As a result of this, we can communicate and work with other people
across different parts of the world, which provides many with the ability to work
from home or have a virtual office.
Furthermore, the Internet contains an enormous amount of knowledge, so it has
become very easy for people to rummage through the Internet and get the
necessary information. We can use a search engine like Google to ask any question
and find a web page with an answer and information about that question.
Therefore, the Internet is a great platform for students to learn new things and
even obtain degrees through online courses.
Last but not least, the Internet provides people with access to endless
entertainment. With this invention, we can watch movies, videos, play games
online, and listen to music. There are many sites available on the internet, which
contain different entertainment materials like music, videos, and more. For
example, we can watch millions of videos on a platform like YouTube without
paying any costs.
With the reasons above, from my point of view, the Internet is such a wonderful
and is one of the greatest inventions of all time. And because of the benefits and
the difficulties that the inventors faced while inventing this invention are what
impress me the most.
QUESTIONS:
1. I think I used it indirectly when I was 2, I used it for entertainment when I
was small, I said I used it indirectly because my mom and dad used to search
for programs instead of myself. And I used the Internet directly with me
searching for information entertainment or other forms of activities when I
was 7. So I can say I’ve used it for 9 years already. I mainly use it for
studying and entertaining. The Internet is super useful, not only me but
others would find it so convenient because it revolves around every day, and
everywhere.
2. I know for sure that the Internet plays such a significant role in my daily life
because of its convenience and ease. I use it for almost every single activity
that I do every day such as communication, education, transactions, online
booking, leisure, shopping, etc. The Internet is a great way of providing and
accessing information and is available almost all over the world. Being
swift, easily available, and cheap, it’s a great way of exchanging information
across the globe, saving time in the process. Gone are the days when the pen
was the most important tool in this world; times have changed and now the
internet rules the world. The Internet offers a collection of important services
and resources that are essential to daily living. Hence, the internet is very
useful and important in my daily life in particular and everyone’s in general.

Good afternoon everyone! How’s it going? I hope you’re having a great day and a
