5) In the Information dialog box that appears as shown in Figure 1-3, click Next.

7) In the Select Components dialog box that appears as shown in Figure 1-5, keep
the default components, and click Next.
8) In the Select Program Folder dialog box that appears as shown in Figure 1-6,
modify the program folder, and click Next.
Here, do not modify the default program folder.

9) In the Start Copying Files dialog box that appears as shown in Figure 1-7,
confirm the installation information, and click Next.
The copying progress is displayed.
10) After the files are copied, in the Setup Complete dialog box that appears as
shown in Figure 1-8, click Finish.

11) Open the Synlock.ini file in the Data directory, and modify the Stalk Num in the
Tree directory value to 10.
This operation enables you to log in to the maintenance terminal and maintain the
SYNLOCK V3.

Step Action
Select Start > Programs > SynLock > SynLockV3 Program from the start
menu, or double click on the desk top to display the login dialog box as
shown below.

Note:
z If no operation is performed on the maintenance terminal for a specified period of
time, the system is locked automatically.
z To unlock the system, input the login password in the Lock System dialog box,
and click OK.
