Pinterest Users Demographics
Pinterest launched in 2010 and in just two years, it had increased its
traffic by 789% with 200,000 UK users. As you can expect,
Pinterest’s demographics are less balanced than Twitter or Facebook
with 62% of users female, and 38% of users male. There have been
reports suggesting a stronger female usage up to 80% on Pinterest.

- Location – A place to list your city and state so people know
where you are located.
- Website – A link to your business website.

Always!
Name – Count it less than 26 Characters and focus your Keywords
as your boards.
Description – You are allowed up to 500 characters as your board
description – be descriptive and use keywords that your customers
may search.
Category – Choose the one best category that best applies to your
board topic.

- When adding pins, you want a mix of your own content/pages and
content from other sites.
- Pin descriptions can be up to 500 characters, and like everything
