This Training (RPL) Recognize Prior Learning so that you won’t have to undergo the
same training again. I have here a DATA GATHERING TOOL for trainees
characteristics. This will help me determine your background, knowledge and
Experiences so that your training will be personalized according to your needs.

According to the questionnaires that I have here it seems that Ms. Wilma has a
relevant experience regarding heavy equipment operation.

training.
Now let us start our orientation for competency based training for HEO-WL NCII.
Since this training is delivered focusing on your competencies, let us be enlightened
with the CBT.
WHAT IS CBT?. . . STANDS FOR COMPETENCY BASED TRAINING.
It focuses on the competency development of the learner. It is learner centered
it emphasizes on what the learner can really do.
It also focuses on the OUTCOME rather than the LEARNING PROCESS.
Concerned with the ATTAINMENT and APPLICATION of KSA.
Do you have any questions? . . . in addition, CBT is conducted with standardized
principles. So,
NOW LET US PROCEED TO THE 10 PRINCIPLES OF CBT.

2. Next. . Learning is Modular in structure. this means that you have to
accomplish the first of a particular module before you can proceed to another
module. Take note that you have to complete all the module for you to qualify

CBT PROCESS FLOW THIS IS A SUMMARY PROCESS ON HOW ARE WE GOING
TO CONDUCT THE TRAINING.
Trainee enters the program
Trainee selects competency and receives instructions. It really depends on the
qualification if it is SEQUENTIAL or CIRCULAR. But for our Qualification since it is
SEQUENTIAL we have to finish the FIRST core and proceed to the second Core until
the last core.
These are the instructions that you are going to perform. So you are going to perform
the tasks and I as your trainer will observe and rate your performance. In every unit
of competency that you have accomplished I will recognize it by giving you a
Certificate of Competency. If you are done with all the competencies, you can now
undergo with the institutional assessment so I am going to assess if you really learned
something during our training and if you are really ready for the NATIONAL
ASSESSMENT. If you have successfully passed the institutional assessment you may
now undergo NATIONAL ASSESSMENT if you are confident that you’re ready. The
moment you passed the national assessment, you may now Exit the Program.
I know you will be asking, “what if we were not able to pass the institutional
assessment?” You don’t have to worry, you may go back to your modules for mastery.
You may undergo institutional assessment again and if you passed you may now
proceed with the national assessment if you passed Congratulations. . . You may now
exit the program.
ROLES OF A CBT TRAINER
I will serve as a team member to determine what is to be learned, stimulates
trainees’ motivation, manage learning
Instil confidence in the learner. This is the main problem how can I be able to
help you when every time that I am going to ask question you are going to say
none or do you understand you are going to say yes. Do you get what I mean ?

ROLES OF A CBT TRAINEE
May select what they want to learn and when they want to learn it, within
reason.
Learns at their own rate within program guidelines.
Decide when they are ready to perform each task or demonstrate mastery of
learning.
Compete against job standards and not against other students.
Evaluate their own progress to see how well they are doing.
Move freely in the workshop.
In CBT it is more on performance we are going to improve your skill regarding your
qualification.
QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW
Bread and Pastry Production NCII is our Module Title. We Belong to the CONSTRUCTIN
SECTOR with a NOMINAL DURATION of 156 Hours.
We have 3 Competencies
The BASIC. COMMON and CORE competency but we will be focusing on the Core
Competencies.
As you can see in our Core Competency it is all about performing so we will be
working or staying in our Practical Working Area. It will be fun
CBLM- Competency Based Learning Material.
There are 2 parts of CBLM
The most important part of CBLM is the INSTRUCTION SHEET.
INSTRUCTION SHEET-You can find the content/ learning activities that you are going
to read and understand.
SELF-CHECK- an immediate evaluation regarding on what you understand on
the information sheet.
ANSWER KEY- Immediate feedback on your self-check.
OPERATION/TASK/JOB- Performance test or instructions
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA CHECKLIST- Used to rate your skills .

Throughout the training I will be using this evaluation tools to evaluate your
KSA.

underpinning knowledge, the science, mathematics and communication

6. TRAINERS RESOUCE CENTER- houses the learning materials. Training
regulations and curriculum exemplars. Where trainers produce training
materials.
7. DISTANCE LEARNING AREA- because in TESDA ABOT LAHAT. Internet
connections.
8. COMPUTER LABORATOTY- trainees are provided to learn and gain I.T
competencies.
9. SUPPORT AREA-For our qualification our support area will be AUTOMOTIVE and
SMAW.

Read our CBLM . You are going to start on the First Core Competency Read and
understand the Information sheet, Answer the Self Check and Compare your
Answer to the answer key I will come back to you when you are done. You are
given 1 Hour to do the task.

competency.

industrial Assessment Area to check if you are competent with this competency.
Okay this is a 20 points item written test I will give you 20 min to answer please
read the instruction before answering. Are you done ?. . . Okay now I am going
to ask you a question . Enumerate the 5 Personal Protective Equipment to be
used before Operating the wheel Loader. SAFETY HAT, GOGGLES, VEST, GLOVES
and SAFETY BOOTS. Very Good Congratulations , Receive this Certificate of

ACHIEVEMENT CHART and PROGRESS CHART. You may now proceed to the
next core competency.

For your institutional assessment I have here your written test it is compose of 30
items. Read the instruction before answering you are given 30 minutes to answer.
CONGRATIONS, BOTH of you passed the institutional assessment . You may now
undergo NATIONAL ASSESSMENT. Since Fuzeko Polytechnic college is an Accredited
Assessment Center for Wheel Loader NCII These are the upcoming schedules for the
NATIONAL ASSESSMENT. All you need to do is to visit our registrar to apply for
National assessment. This are the requirements that you have to bring.

600 pesos for the assessment fee.
