Motivation letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

With this letter, I would hereby like to apply for a Master's program in Computer Science
offered by Eötvös Loránd University and the Data Science Master offered at the University of
Debrecen in the academic year 2025.

First of all, let me introduce myself, I am Chaima Melki and I have gained my Bachelor's
degree in Science of Technological Information and Communication from the Higher
Institute of Technological Studies in Communications of Tunis.

While growing up, I was part of various coding clubs and tech events which further grew my
interest in computer science. These experiences not only satisfied my curiosity but also
allowed me to see the practical applications of programming and problem-solving. So I
decided to pursue a Bachelor’s in Information Technology to build a strong base in this field.
My internships gave me hands-on experience and helped me to develop technical skills and
solve real challenges.

A Master's in Computer Science appeals to me the most due to its logical foundation of
algorithm design, software engineering, and computational systems, which includes robust AI
framework development. Meanwhile, the Data Science program emphasizes data modeling,
analytics, and machine learning all of which serve as practical tools for extracting actionable
insights from complex datasets. Both programs go hand in hand with my aim to gain expertise
in data-driven innovation and artificial intelligence.

As a professional, I hope to further my technical knowledge, enhance my analytical thinking,


and establish revolutionary projects for healthcare and climate change. I would like to work
on Artificial Intelligence that may aid in providing correct diagnoses on time and customizing
treatment options based on patient needs. As for combating climate change, I would like to
create models that would assist in the wiser use of resources, estimate environmental dangers,
and promote sustainable behavior. Through such remarkable projects, I strive to better serve
these problems and bring a difference at both global and local scales.

It is safe to say that I will face some difficulties in adjusting to the new culture but I plan to
learn the language and join social and after-school activities. This will help me adjust quicker
and form close bonds with students from Hungary and other countries which will help me feel
more at home and make the transition smoother. The good reputation of high-quality
education standards, extremely distinguished faculty members, and research facilities in
Hungarian Universities are the factors, which have motivated me to choose Hungary for my
graduate studies.

Moreover, I feel I am responsible for making a big move in this field and this scholarship will
give me a big chance to be one day someone who is remembered for his innovations. I think it
is our responsibility to leave something in inheritance to the world and upcoming generations.

I would offer my leadership skills, a strong educational background, and desire to go one step
further than the others would. I have the right academic record, the right skills, and the
attitude to succeed and I am convinced that this program is the right stepping-stone for my
professional ambitions.
