JD- Java Software Engineer

At Novel Patterns, we are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our vibrant team. The chosen
applicant will be a vital part of the design, creation, and upkeep of our Java-based applications.

Essential Skills - Core Java, multithreading, Spring/Spring Boot, Databases


Opening: Multiple
Location: Noida
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field with at least
60% marks throughout.
Salary: As per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Must have strong experience in Core Java, REST Services, Multithreading, Spring and SQL.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers & other
developers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
● Design, develop & implement high-quality, scalable & maintainable Java applications.
● Write well-designed, efficient & testable code using best practices and coding standards.
● Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
● Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
● Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and security.
● Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for
improvements to enhance the development process.
● Document software functionalities, technical specifications & project-related information.
● Collaborate with the testing team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and participate in the
debugging and resolution of issues.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.


● Strong knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
● Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
● Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript & AJAX.
● Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
● Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools & processes.
● Understanding of software testing principles and experience with testing frameworks.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
● Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
● Prior experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
● Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is a bonus
