Team Baitussalam

Team Information:
Established in 2019 under the name Team Pakistan (renamed Team Baitussalam
last year), our team has actively engaged in numerous National and International Robotics
Competitions. Our team consists of 6 individuals who are in their High School. Over the past 5
years, we have consistently participated in various robotics competitions across Pakistan,
achieving noteworthy positions. A significant milestone was our outstanding performance in
NERC, Pakistan's largest and most prestigious competition, hosted at National University of
Science and Technology last year.
Looking ahead, our team is gearing up for the upcoming Teknofest, actively preparing to build
on our successes and continue making impactful strides in the field of robotics.

Consultant Information:
The name of the consultant is Zeeshan Abbasi, who is also acting as an advisor to
the team. Mr. Zeeshan has done his Electrical Engineering and Masters in Education from
National University of Science Technology, Islamabad. He is currently serving as Principal and
Robotics Instructor at Baitussalam School.

Team General Information:


As mentioned above, we have participated in many robotics’ competitions
achieving many positions. In 2019, amidst the challenges posed by the global pandemic, we
secured the 1st position in the preliminary round of Technology for Humanity category in
Teknofest, which was conducted online. Our international experiences also include participation
in the MEB Robotics Competition held in Bursa, Turkey, last year. Participating nationally, we
competed in Pakistan’s biggest and most prestigious robotics competition, NERC and secured 1st
position in two of the modules at national level. We also secured positions in EDVON, Hi-Robo
Tec and Youth-Robo Tech which are also held nationally in our country. We are eagerly
anticipating our participation in Teknofest 2024, eager to integrate this experience into our
robotics venture.
