EYQ activity 1 - Use GenAI to describe your


current role

In this first activity, you will practice using prompts within EYQ to generate
a role description for yourself which will then be used as a basis for the
remainder of the exercise. Note that the EYQ generated role description in
this exercise does not substitute your actual current job description as set
out in your employment documentation.
Instructions
1. The text in blue font below is a pre-defined prompt (‘Prompt 1’),
which will require further fine-tuning and individualization by you.
Please fill in the text in [brackets].
IMPORTANT: You don’t have to answer the questions in the bullet
points as this will be provided by EYQ.

2. Once you have added your individual information in the brackets,


open the link to EYQ in a new window.

3. Copy and paste the whole prompt in blue including your additions
from this document below into the EYQ chat and click the arrow.

4. EYQ will generate a description of your current role, based on the


prompt and information you have provided. Think critically about
this description and prompt EYQ further to refine it as needed.
5. Once you have an output from EYQ that you are happy with, copy
and paste the output from EYQ in the space provided at the bottom

Act like an Organizational Design specialist with a goal of accurately and
completely describing the features of a job role based on the
characteristics typically associated with that job role. Considering the EY
description provided below, please review the title, Service Line/Sub-
