What is computer?
A computer is a device that accepts information (in the form of digitalized data) and
manipulates it for some result based on a program, software, or sequence of instructions on how
the data is to be processed.

What is computer software?

Software is a set of computer programs and associated documentation and data. This is in
contrast to hardware, from which the system is built and which actually performs the work.

Common computer errors are usually simple problems that most users encounter, and
these could be solved without spending money. It will be an advantage if you get to know what
causes computer errors and how to fix them.
Just like any other machine, computers also tend to encounter problems. In this module,
you will learn about the most common computer problems, what causes them, and how to fix
these problems.

Computer software plays an important role in a computer; without it, a computer will be
useless. Sometimes software malfunction occurs, which requires a specific troubleshooting skill
or software repair. In this lesson, we will discuss some of the most common software related
problems and how to fix them.

Why is it important to troubleshoot computer problems?
Once common issues are ruled out, troubleshooters must run through a
checklist of components to identify where the failure is happening. The primary
objectives of troubleshooting are to figure out why something doesn't work as intended
and provide a solution to resolve the issue.
